I know for the 2019 model year, Honda stopped offering the Summer tires as an option. They instead offered it as a dealer accessory (for way more than the $200 upcharge to swap).

Not even sure if the 2020 is going to have any options like HFP or anything. Probably only random accessories like mud flaps, door molding etc.
not quite true. A lot of people got the summer tires for free from the factory for their 2019 as standard on their SI. I was one of those people.

I was reading on this forum one day that it was an accident and the dealers should not have given ppl them, but kept the summer tires on if installed from the factory. Mine came with the crap all-seasons straight from the factory, so I couldn't get summers even for the $200 option to swap!

Shorting Gearing is a lame way to add acceleration “feel”. Comes at the cost of MPG. No thanks

Artificial engine sounds? Why Honda why???? Why not just change the exhaust slightly.

2018-19 FTW
Swapping out the shorter FD ratio from the jdm dc5 integra type r into the us version was one of the best and most popular mods on the rsx-s. Im excited to hear this!

IMHO those crap all seasons are actually pretty decent in terms of treadwear vs the ability to get the car to oversteer. I've definitely had worse all season tires from the factory on "better" cars (Mini Cooper S, Subaru WRX). My fronts are brand new thanks to a parking lot accident which I was able to work through the other drivers insurance. My rears have over 28k on them and still have plenty of treadlife left. I'll rotate the new tires to the rear before Winter just to be safe. I very rarely drive the car hard, my mpg posts on this forum are solid proof of that.

I don't want the sensing package, nor do I want heavier wheels or canned engine noises played through the cabin. I don't even want the volume knob as the steering wheel buttons work fine. I wouldn't mind the newer vents, but I've already come to terms with the ones I have. I would like to have the dedicated fan controls. Once in a while I trigger the service mode reboot on the radio and waiting 30 minutes for it to recover kinda sucks on my hour long commute. Thankfully I just leave it on 68F Auto all the time so it's not a big deal.

My issue is I already have dedicated winter tires (Utah resident) so I would rather have full on summer tires when I do the swap instead of just changing from winter tires to "jack of all trades" tires.

From my understanding they were shipped from the factory with the summer tires even though they were not listed on the window sticker, then a lot were complaining in the states with snow that they did not want those tires due to the area they lived in, so the Honda allowed the dealers to then if the customer wanted, switch out the tires to all seasons. I live in Florida and my SI did not have them listed on the sticker, but did come with the summer tires. I guess because of my area, the dealer chose to leave them on rather than change them out unless I had said something. I was quite happy to have the summer tires and not have to pay extra for them. I would have anyway though if it were an option. Im not sure how many 2019 SI's were shipped with the summer tires from the factory that were not listed on the stickers. I believe it was quite a few.

Only thing i would like on my 19 is the LED lights. The bumpers and extra red inside aren't great, plus I'd rather have my right side camera then the sensing package.

This is correct. Lots of people got them, myself included, which made me pretty happy as I get a second set of winter wheels anyways. Everyone should have received a safety bulletin though about the problem if there was a discrepancy between the sticker and what was mounted. For cars on the lot, the dealer had the option to replace them or just update the window sticker.

Just noticed, the new wheels look a lot like current GT-R wheels

They still share the same wheel though...I am happy about that because I really did not like Honda doing that same wheel shit on ours. I would have had a real sour taste in my mouth if the 2020 Si had different wheels then the sports. That was pretty much my biggest complaint. All the other gens had different wheels. Yes still pissed about it.

Well my opinion,
I like the red on the seats
I like the red interior accent
I like the color matched bumper accents (better looking then ours)
I like our wheels better, but jelly they are standard black for 2020
LED headlamps...kiss my ass Honda why not do that from the damn beginning

Honda's press photos seem to show the car with the Eagle F1s, so hopefully summer tires will be easy to come by. This is from Car and Driver's article on the refresh (https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a28771990/2020-honda-civic-si-photos-info/). I'm curious if they will be offering the $200 option again-- I'd sure hope so! That is a steal for kick-ass tires like these.

When I got my '18... I had to order it with them as there were none on the lot. Then again, at the time... there weren't even any '18s on the lot as the '17 model year was still wrapping. They've been decent tires thus far. I think they'll be good for 30k miles.

I wouldn't buy them again but well worth $200... even though my paperwork actually never had $200 for the tires on it. (shrug) It all worked out... and I'm sure they still made a good bit of money.

Would someone be able to photoshop the new images of the Red Si Coupe in Modern Steel or Aegean Blue? I'm seriously considering on holding off until the 2020's hit the lot but I'm curious how it'll look with the new wheels in the colors I'd consider.
