Perfect, I don't want that raspy sound that comes with the catless dp. I watched sound videos of people with the catless and it sounds kind of ricey tbh.

Catless noise really isn't that bad compared to pretty much every other 4 banger I've heard with straight headers. It does have some sound to it. The sound cleans up a lot better after there's some miles on it - sounds quite a bit different after 18 months than it did when I first put it on.

Sorry to ask here, but what is the stock exhaust size for the 2016+ 2.0NA?

I’m not sure about the down pipe but I just had my exhaust done and the exhaust piping is 2”

Was that for your 2.0NA or 1.5T? I see your profile has 2 Civics. But I plan to change out the muffler to do a custom center exhaust with stock piping. I was under the impression the 2.0NA was 2.25", and 1.5T was 2".

I am referring to my 2.0. I believe my 1.5t also has 2” exhaust except it came with dual exhaust rather than a single muffler that my 2.0 came with. I also had dual tips put on my 2.0 which is where I found out that our stock exhaust is mandrel bent stainless tubing. So I just had the resonator cut out and a dbx Flowmaster welded in its place and had the stock muffler cut out and put a Y pipe going to my dual tips, all stainless so it wouldn’t rust away on me. This is a picture of mine

That exhaust setup looks nice, do you have pics of the underside? I assume you had to do a custom piping?

Please get some more input on the exhaust size. I’m pretty sure the 1.5t and 2.0 have the same pipe size. I measured with a tape measure one day and they both looked the same at 2” exact. Here is a pic of the muffler welded in the resonator spot and the Y pipe going to the tips. Yes a shop did it custom for me

Nice setup, I can only seem to find 2.25" small profile mufflers. I'm sure an exhaust shop can just expand the 2" pipe to weld onto a 2.25" piping.

Well the muffler I went with is the 2” inlet and outlet dbx Flowmaster so it could weld to my factory pipe. Again I measured my stock pipe with a tape measure. And if I recall when I was talking to the the guy at the shop when they had my car up on the lift, he even said my factory pipe was 2”

How loud is the muffler over stock? I assume you removed the stock resonator as well? I'm trying to keep as quiet or at least near to stock sound.
It is definitely louder than stock, since the stock exhaust is near silent lol. It has a good aggressive sound but is not overwhelming. Under acceleration you can definitely hear it but it is pretty quiet when cruising. Even at 75 mph you only hear a slight hum. I have excellent hearing and I can barely hear it. Let me put it this way, if there is any road noise at all it will drown out the exhaust. I did a lot of research before I landed on this muffler because it is not too loud and has a great tone. I can make a video of me driving around so you can hear it. For now I got this clip of the start up and revs

It is much appreciated! Over here in California, exhaust noise and smog is such an issue here. Maintaining a close to subtle exhaust sound is the goal.

This is exactly what I want to do, but want to do 2.75" piping to match the downpipe flange, and already have the same diffuser. How much did this run you?
