What are the improvements to the "upgraded Display Audio system"?

The menu structure looks the same. The differences physically appear to be actual buttons rather than touch sensitive ones.

Does it mean the 'tablet' it's based on is much faster and removes the lag when navigating between anything!?

Does it have wireless Apple CarPlay?

The Si also gets the LED headlamps and the new 18" wheels, too. I wonder how much of a price bump that will be?
It’s only $700 more than the 2019 Si. A great deal considering the LED headlights are ~$1500 alone.

That is a steal for what you get then! Thanks

I noticed there is now a "Maps" button on the infotainment. The rear diffuser where the exhaust sits looks different and I don't like that so much. Honda's website says the door handles are chrome? what?? I see no chrome door handles (thank god). Also, the fog lights CAN be upgraded to the LED's, but that's an additional $250 according to Honda's website.

Personally, I don't like the new wheels or new vents. It's kind of a let down to me seeing this 2020 model, especially since the car only comes in three colors, White, Sonic Gray, and Black. All three colors I don't jive with. I want the polished metal. It's really nice that it offers a 6 speed MT though. I like the '19 Sport's infotainment much more for its simple design. The AA/ACP features are cool, but not necessary as long as I can get blue tooth audio. I've lived with maps on my phone for years and it won't hurt me to miss out on that feature grabbing the '19 sport. There is also the debate in my mind of the Si since there is room for performance improvements on that thing. The hatches look so damn good though. The day they make the Si Hatchback would be a blessed day, but we all know that won't happen considering it would compete against the Type R and they would lose sales on other models.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but I wonder if i can retrofit the Homelink feature to my 2019 model?

Anyone swear by Sensing?
I'm on my fifth Honda vehicle with Honda Sensing. For better or worse, it works virtually the same in all of them. As far as the individual features go:

Adaptive Cruise Control - LOVE it for relaxed, safe, convenient driving on two-lane roads when I'm stuck behind slower-moving traffic. Aggressive drivers who follow too closely in the city or on congested highways often complain about it. It's easy to switch to "regular" cruise control, though.

Lane Keeping Assist System - It often misinterprets faint or non-existent road markings or misses obvious ones and slowly oscillates from side to side. I've found it useful for "grabbing the wheel" for a few seconds while I'm sneezing and blowing my nose, but not much else. In my experience, it's a novelty at best and I rarely use it.

Road Departure Mitigation - Although I might do it on my way home today, I've yet to run off the road in 30 years of driving because I pay attention. I have to turn RDM off because it sometimes incorrectly interprets differences in pavement color, long gouges, or worn lanes as the edge of the road and will annoyingly tug on the steering wheel thinking that I've left my lane.

Automatic High Beams - Very convenient feature. It's not perfect, but it's often more attentive than I am at choosing between low and high beams. Sometimes, I'll forget to switch to high beam when I should or, less rarely, forget to dim when approaching oncoming traffic.

Collision Mitigation Braking System - I believe this is the most valuable feature of Honda Sensing. Hopefully, you'll never need it, but none of us are as good or attentive of drivers as we believe we are. We're human and we make mistakes. CMBS can also see through heavy snow and thick fog because of the radar - we can't, so it could very well save your life. So far, I've yet to cause a wreck, but shortly after I bought my first vehicle with Honda Sensing - a 2016 CR-V Touring - I was foolishly distracted by the radio while driving down a two-lane road at 55 MPH when all of the sudden, the vehicle started beeping then quickly came to a full stop. By the time my brain processed the occurrence, I looked up and saw a red Pontiac Grand Prix stopped in the road waiting to turn into a driveway. I simply failed to see the vehicle. The CMBS feature saved a lot of expense and possibly lives that day. I never want another vehicle with it. It has braked unexpectedly a few times over the years, but almost always it's in situations where I shouldn't have been following so closely such as when behind vehicles that have slowed to turn into parking lots.

So the 2020 hatch Sport gets the full suite of Sensing?

I'm wondering if I should get that, my 2017 has none of it, and I've had a few near misses, since I drive 25k miles/year for work and am tired a lot. Anyone swear by Sensing?
I payed few hundred bucks more back in 2017 for HS and haven't regretted a bit.
ACC is amazing for long road trips and automatic breaking is essential imo.
Lane keeping is not the most accurate system but it works very well on highway, way better than Toyota Safety Sense which only has lane departure mitigation.
AEB has saved me at least once from rearending someone else.
I'd love to see HS including rear cross traffic alert/breaking and blind spot monitoring though. We're seeing these features on the latest Versa even.

@zroger73 - you nailed it with your post re: Honda Sensing. And I totally agree with you regarding CMBS. That feature alone has saved me but not because I was inattentive but because it saw something in the road before I did: Deer. I have a stretch of road near my house that often deer cross. I know this and I'm aware and drive cautiously but wild animals are unpredictable. On one occasion it was a night and I'm heading down that road and suddenly the "BRAKE" message lights up and I feel my CR-V braking to a stop. I sort of freak out because I don't really see any car ahead. Instead it was a deer frozen in the road. The second time was in my hatchback and again, Honda sensing saw the deer (or object) in the road and stopped me before I even noticed. It's a helluva safety feature. Besides CMBS, the adaptive cruise is my other most often appreciated feature.

That's interesting. I'm not sure how the system was able to detect a deer because non-metallic objects such as plastic garbage cans, animals, and wood fences are transparent to radar which relies on a metallic object being able to reflect the signal so it can "see". The camera is only designed to detect human figures around 3 to 6 feet in height.

Interesting indeed. I can’t explain it other than I was in both cars when the system activated. One of the bucks was a pretty good size which could explain the detection?

Sensing is great, I realized how lazy I've turned to be with it lol I'm doing semi-auto pilot all the time in highway traffic. CMBS is great, but we got to keep the sensor cover clean and cleared. Last winter there was a day that it's slushy out, and the CMBS suddenly quite. When I make it to where I was going, I found that there was like 1cm of slush covered the sensor...

I guess when the weather is bad enough, it's still better to stay home lol

The puddle lights were available on my 19 coupe. Not sure if they are same part number for the hatchback. They are tedious to install...they are cool though.

Never been excited to an accessory but when i read the “Rear seat cargo protector” i got too excited. Hopefully it will fit the older fk7s.

Edit; It does fit. Heres the link if anybody is interested.
