I don't know. FBO tuned si's are putting down good power with less weight albeit not dramatically less. It would be a good race but I wouldn't be surprised if the r lost.
The problem is trying to output that much power and torque out of our 1.5L engines can be a recipe for disaster

A Dinan badge doesn't mean much in itself. You can legitimately get a Dinan badge by buying a bunch of cosmetic mods that do nothing for the car's performance. They do offer power adders on some models, but running into one of those is quite rare.

Also, saying you raced a 540 doesn't tell us much. There are a bunch of different generations of 540's with varying degrees of performance.

Even stock, I don't think a modded Si is a match for a CTR unless you are talking about Eman's 400 WHP Si (with a bunch of CTR parts btw)
A FBO/TSP Stage 2 Si will walk a stock R without even breaking a sweat. Myself and a few others from SDxGenz have first-hand experience with this.

Didnt you run a 14 something?
Yes but I also trapped 103 even tho I spun badly Because my tires are the cheapest you can buy. I spin all the way through first and all the way through second all the way til 3rd. I felt like I was driving on oil. That’s how bad my traction was. Trust me if I had tires, I’ll be 13.5 and lower. When I get tires, I’ll post up the video and time slip. It was also hot that day lol. I’m going this fall on a cool day.

Dam what do you have done to this whip? I'd be happy as hell with this type of performance.

It always amazes me when people think this slow car can beat or even hang with cars that are much much faster. Either 90% aren’t actually racing or couldn’t care. The other 9% let off and let you win...

The 1% is drivers error like the were in manual mode on a DSG bouncing it off 7-8k rev limiter in first and it takes them 5 seconds to hit the paddle shifter.

Now most minivans and suvs can beat our stock car. Let alone tuned German BMWs...

This car is slow.

My evidence is I owned fast cars previously, almost all of them were faster than my Si including my lifted F-150 on 35s (but yes it was tuned)

Just be careful and try not to kill anyone in these scientific endeavors.

I know the truth hurts but we can barely beat a Prius off the line...hell I bet some people can’t.
