Told my mechanic at the dealer today about this mod, he said "cool idea, order the parts & I'll make it work with both horns, it will take about an hour" As I cannot kneel and live in a townhouse with no garage, I ordered the horns. When I had Miatas, Hella horns were the 1st thing I did to them, purely a safety issue, trucks couldn't see me in their mirrors, but they sure as hell HEARD me, for some reason, drove Civics for years & never considered the safety issue with not having "enough" horn on today's interstates, well, thanks to this thread, my new Civic Touring Coupe will be getting a better set of lungs
As a long-term Civic owner, I've learned a lot here, thanks!

I imagine you could replace them with Hella's horns if you wanted. The Supertone horns are pretty loud IIRC

More than 30+years in the driving scene, I have always loved the Hella's. Will be on the market for one or a pair.

You can buy pig tails with the horn-ends attached as part from Honda. They're in one of the diagrams that deal with front wiring harnesses. You can attach a pair of these to the College Hills adapter to make a plug-and-play "Y" adapter if you wanted to use the Accord horns on a single-horn trim.

If you only have a single-horn connector, using the Accord horns may not be the best option if you want dual horns.
I want both high and low tone horns from the accord. Not sure if there are 2 connectors in my sport touring or not so I'm thinking I could buy both horns and use this adapter so both will work? Then bolt both horns and and I should be good?

The horn is so ridiculous, I have to laugh every time when using the horn.
The good thing is, it doesn't sound too aggressive in certain, more harmless, situations.

I would wire them in with a relay just to be safe. Use the factory horn signal wire to control the relay. This way, you could put 4 semi-truck horns in and not worry about overloading the factory wiring.

That's how I wired in my WRX Hella Supertones. Having dual-frequency horns is great. I really want to put them on the Civic too.

Funny thing, since owning the vehicle. I haven't even tried the horn, LOL. Is it that horrible/bad of a sound? Or is just weak sounding?

It's quiet and weak. I've actually had situations where a driver was merging into my line and going to hit me and I've blew the horn and I know he could barely hear it. Heck, I could barely hear it.

After reading a few responses about the pitiful oem horn. I just ordered an upgraded horn for my 16' Civic, looks to be a very easy install. Just time consuming for removing the front bumper. Although someone mentioned that removing the front bumper too many times can cause it to sag or something? I've already taken it off 2 times for the fog lights install.

Use a relay then have 4 connections to that relay correct? Got a link to the relay or is the relay the thing college hills honda sells too? My knowledge about wiring and electrical stuff is like basically nothing haha

A relay is just an electronically controlled junction. Look up a youtube video of what/how a relay is/works.
