Wish I was local, just failed Texas inspection because my O2 sensors are disabled to prevent CEL. Gonna have to swap out and re-enable since even the updated O2 defouler doesn't prevent CEL 100%. It's a 15 minute job, but a pain given the 100°F outsidd temp and time it takes for that pipe to cool down.

Anyone wanna buy my ceramic coated catless pipe? It's nice and broken in with nearly 18 months of use... :D
do you have ktuner or hondata? are they doing something different to know that the o2 sensor is disabled?

Ktuner with 0138/0139 disabled to prevent CEL, ODB reader at inspection station shows both sensors as "NOT READY".

CEL being on is an automatic fail regardless, so I was just being hopeful that they wouldn't plug into the ODB and would go off the absence of the light, but alas... Usually this place is known for not even driving your car to test the brakes, which they barely drove the vehicle into the docket, even checked under the hood, but only notated the odb readings as the failure point.

you cant 'set readiness' in ktuner like on hondata kpro? do you know if hondata flashpro does on 10th gen?

@RV6 any chance I can trade my catless for the high flow cat version when dev is complete? I had to remove it to pass inspection. In the process I discovered that the mount weld broke off. See pic below. I'd be willing to pay shipping and cost differential (and more if necessary). DM me if this is a possibility, please.

You must have a early downpipe we reinforced that tab a while back. We might be able to retrofit your catless downpipe. I’ll will talk to our fabricators about it and get back to you.

*Update* FedEx attempted delivery of the catted downpipe this morning, but I missed the doorbell/knock. They'll be attempting to deliver again tomorrow, and will likely be installing Wednesday evening. Excited!

Just wondering, did you opt for the ceremic coating?

Yes.

Opened the package today. I had them retrofit my cat less with the high flow cat. They had to strip the ceramic coating, cut the pipe, and weld in the cat, as well as weld on the side mount as that had broken off (I had one of the first catless units). It's definitely a retrofit as there's still black soot in the main opening, and my "for off road use only" badge still has the high heat discoloring. Turn around was actually faster than I had expected. Shipped out on 9/9 and technically should have received it yesterday, 9/23. Less time that the cat less, due to a shipping snafu where I originally received someone's Accord version of the pipe, lol.

Ceramic coat appears flawless. Just FYI, I ran my cat less for nearly a year and a half, no discoloring, no bubbles, flaking, or any defects in the original ceramic coating.

Per quality RV6, the pipe was wrapped in bubble wrap, taped, and stacked between quality packaging.

The cat material is in a triangular mesh formation that appears to be more open, less dense, about 30% as wide, 35% as deep when compared to factory. A *lot* less material to get through.

What it came with:
Downpipe with cat and defouler for #2 O2 sensor
Repaired side mount
3x nuts on exit side bolts
RV6 license plate cover
RV6 Package: extension cable for #2 O2 sensor (2nd O2 port is a bit lower), RV6 sticker, paper insert, RV6 lanyard (love this, it's the only thing I have connected to my keyfob)

What it did not come with:
Gasket
Mounting bolt/nut (anyone know the size on this? Mine fell off after I reinstalled the factory cat)
Retractable magnet

Can’t wait to hear your results. I’m on the fence on buying the catted downpipe for mine. You are the perfect judge since you have experienced the catless and now get to experience the catted version. Let us know your thoughts please

Thanks for the info! I was wondering how you got yours already when I ordered mine as soon as it was released but still hasn't shipped yet, but I did add the ceramic coating.

As for the parts that were missing for you (Gasket, Mounting bolt/nut, and
Retractable magnet), are they even necessary or will I need them to successfully complete the installation? Thanks!

Since your downpipe was a retrofit we did not include hardware that you got with the initial kit. Just shoot us a email and we will be happy to send you the nut and bolt you need. The engine to downpipe gasket included with the initial kit is a upgraded 3 layer MLS gasket that is reusable. Everyone that purchased the kit new should get all necessary hardware and a upgraded 3 layer MLS gasket.

The bolt is a M10x1.25x20mm flange bolt. The nut is a M10x1.25 flange nut.

Unfortunately we ran out of promotional magnet sticks a while ago.

Your downpipe is at ceramic coating and should ship the end of this week with the rest of the ceramic coated orders.

Your downpipe will include all hardware necessary for the install.
