So happy i got a new 2019 before these changes....
I'd take the Honda sensing, LEDs and final drive. They can keep the seats and bumper. Still iffy on the new rims too.

They made sure not to show the gigantic box, the rearview mirror sits beside. No thanks.

I miss my 2017 sometimes, but I really like the 2019 and 2020 changes.

I'm on the fence about the 2020's matte black wheels. I'm not particularly fond of the design and prefer gloss black over matte black. One thing I look for in a wheel is ease of cleaning - wheels with complex designs or large numbers of spokes are more difficult and time consuming to clean.

However, I LOVE the additional red accents on the seats and dash. I'm also glad to see LED lighting up front - too bad it didn't extend to the brake lights and rear turn signals.

I've had several Hondas with Honda Sensing and rarely use any of the features; however, I appreciate the "safety net" of collision mitigation braking system and the convenience of automatic high beams and adaptive cruise control. They can keep their lane keeping assist system and road departure mitigation though - those features are more annoying than useful to me. For those who don't want Honda Sensing - keep in mind that ALL of its features can be turned off.

The fuel economy decrease is admittedly disappointing, but fuel costs for sporty-ish vehicle that needs premium fuel for best performance aren't a top priority.

The vast majority of Si's will never leave public roads and it's already has enough torque to spin both front wheels in first and second with the stock tires, so I'm not convinced that there was much of a need to mess with gearing. The 1.5T already runs out of steam at higher revs. I'll wait to see actual results before reaching a conclusion on this one.

If the Honda Sensing is anything like the Odyssey, its gonna sucks as its gonna beep you when you get too close or auto applying brakes when you dont want the car to sometimes. Hope there is a easy way to off these features for autox/track (not like the pedal dance VSA off).

Shorter gearing??? Already too short. Hey maybe you can launch in 2nd for a one shift to 60! Should be less load on the clutch (not withstanding a 2nd gear launch) for less clutch slipping.

$700 for the LED headlights/fog lights and new wheels would be worth it to me. But I would not want the Honda Sensing at all in a sporty/manual trans car. Plus the new bumpers are actually worse IMO. The added red in the interior is cool but I could live without it. Glad I got the '19 now as I was worried I would regret it when the '20 came out with enhancements. Too bad the infotainment software hasn't changed to what the 18+ Accord/Odyssey has. It's so much better in my 18 Ody.

The only thing that I would want from the update is ACC. CDN Si already have the LED headlights, lane watch, spare tire, etc. I don’t like the new updated fake vents all the way around the Sedan. The Coupe back end is nice though, the body colour inserts are very tacky. Don’t want the rest of the Honda Sensing suite, just ACC.

On that note...

The list price of both halogen headlights for a 2019 Civic is $693.80.
The list price of both LED headlights for a 2019 Civic is $3,292.62. Yikes!
For 2018, Honda Sensing was a $1,000 option.

I'd say $700 for $3,598.82 worth of stuff is a phenomenal bargain. :)

Same here -- except I do not like the new rims and will keep final drive on 2019. So i would just take the sensing and LED's

I just realized something - the 2020 Civic Si was announced before the 2020 Civic non-Si coupe and sedan. That's a fun twist!
That's because I'm pretty sure they are carryovers. They had their refresh last year.
