finally found the vid...this is what the HKS sounded like to me just now

Yep HKS has the same classic sound as it did in the 90's. Thats what I love about it. But yeah, a intake will also make it so your stock BOV louder .

Its a toss up on having issues or no issues. We have a 100% recirculating BPV, (by pass valve) so this may make you run rich until tuned.

so no studdering at idle or during shifts...you don't need to do anything special now in your driving to prevent it from bogging or stalling?

I've had this installed for about two months now. No stalling or bogging issues. Car drives exactly the same as the way it did before.

lol, see, here we go again...out of no where we have people saying zero issues...I don't get it...yet later on we'll see 1 or 2 pop up and say it bogs, etc

just giving you a hard time man LOL.

if you know the effects that a VTA bov has on a MAF car, it wouldn't matter whether or not people say it runs fine or not.
There is only one way to "correctly" run a VTA and that is a speed density tune which the factory ecu doesn't support.

This engine isn't any different from other MAF based cars.

edit: oh, or a blow through maf set up which i don't think anyone is willing to do.
