So looks like the Federal 595RS-PRO run very wide. I had heard this but didn’t believe it. Recently watched this video and these guys measure it to be almost as wide as a 295. If this is true then it would match well with a light weight 18x9.5 rim.

Now I’m sure mounted width isn’t as dramatic but I’ll take the extra width.

And for those that don’t want wide (because of offset), stay clear of these. You’ll probably rub like crazy.

Oh and for those that didn’t know, the RS-RRs we’re above average on width.

Here is a screenshot:

Federals do run wider compared to other summer tires.

Attached is a comparison between a Firehawk Indy 500 and Federal RS-PRO, both 265/35/18.

Also, you can't just mount them on any 18x9.5" wheel as it may still rub (if lowered). You have to be aware of the offset.

You are the ideal person to ask this question of! Do you think that another half inch of inset would work on your car? Not worried about the half inch to the outside, but just possible interference with suspension/steering components.:hmm:
Thanks.:)

You mean like a higher offset? +50- to +55?

No, 18x10.5", 45mm
My wheel specs are 9.5" +45. It's almost flush with the RS-Pro.

10.5" is quite wide. It may rub. Unless you're going with a different brand of R compound tires.

Even if it fits, it will poke.

What size tire do you have on the rims? I had Wedsports, that were 18x9.5", 45mm and ran 245/35's. Had zero issues with rubbing, plenty of room to spare.

265/35. You will not rub with a 245 definitely. But that is the wrong size for a 9.5" wheel.

Run a 275/35/18 RS-RR and don’t rub. Using a wedssport tc105x as well.

that’s with -1.8 camber up front and -2.2 on the rear. Next setup will be a 285 or 295 up front but need to install my hard race lower ball joints first and get -2.8 degrees of camber up front. That should be the perfect setup for track times. We shall see
