Hey, guys, I am trying to find out which size of the rim will fit my 2017 civic ex hatchback. I want to leave my vehicle in stock height and I want to buy the rims on tirerack. However, when I am browsing the web, they only offer 18*8 40mm or 50mm offset. I want the 18*9.5 35mm offset, but the sales associate said that would not fit. Is there anyone with this type of set up. It would be perfect if there is a picture of it. Thanks

Thank you for your reply. However, I am really confused that there is a lot of civic hatchback owners going for the 35mm setup and lower it and works fine. Moreover, I really like to concave look in 35mm but I don't want to lower it. That is the reason that I am really nervous.

Are you seeing 35mm wheels on non-Type R hatchbacks or are you reading about +35mm on Type Rs? Type Rs have fender flares that allow the fitment to look decent. Without those flares they would poke out from the fender on a non-R hatch.

Again, it looks like you are answering your own question. What if you ask the other EX hatchback owners?:dunno: The Type R is fairly different as far as wheel fitment and offset from the regular hatches. Though you'll get some advice, we are pretty limited on what actually fits your car since this is.....a Type R forum.
