After looking through this entire thread I'm sold on 18x9.5", 38mm 245/40-18 for my HB Sport. But I'm getting Motegi's and they only have +35 or +45. I don't want any poke. Anyone have a 18X9.0 +35 setup? I'm thinking that will get me closer to what I want and still run a 245/40.

Nice setup!

How is the overall suspension feel as compare with oem?
Thanks! It's about the same. I never really even gave the stock struts a chance to work, as I had the lowering springs on the car within a week of buying it.

Thanks,

I know 3mm isn't much, but I almost feel like a 38 would be a bit better than the 35mm? I am debating 35's now and have been looking for info like this... VERY glad you have photo's. Hmmmm
I really really really wanted to go 9.5 with +38 offset. It just seemed like the perfect medium between 35 and 40. Unfortunately, my Enkei TS-10 did not come in +38. I went with the +35 and thought it was going to be too much. I ended up being extremely happy with it. It was not as aggressive as I thought it would be. I am running 245 / 40 on stock suspension. I have no rub at all. I was worried about too much poke but there really isn't that much of it at all.

I was wondering if this is too much poke. And is it going mess up the suspension or the fender. (I ain't rubbing or anything, just when really really deep bumb on the pavement)

What is the offset? Must be really low.

The link below check out Blackfc1's setup. 18x9 +35 - 255/35/18 (at the time). I used his set up because at the time no one was running 255's on 9" wheels. Overall both our diameters are 635mm and both have the tab mod bent in.
With your desired tires 245/40/18 itl end up being 653mm in diameter. At that point its really dependent on how low your car is. Im on d2's so i may be able to squeeze out 265/40/17's (644mm) but that is forsure its limit. Stock diameter is 645mm just to give you a reference point.

Hope this helps!
