I have an Si Coupe and I'm wondering the same thing. Our front jack point is the same, but I can't find where the rear jack point would be. There are two reinforced pieces on either side of the exhaust pipe before it splits into the two mufflers, but I'm not sure how steady it would be trying to use one or the other. They also don't go quite past the exhaust, so I'm not comfortable trying to put a 2x4 or something across them.
Yup, That's the only possible point I can see to use jacking it up from the rear, to use one or the other of those reinforced posts.

I just used this today and it worked fine. I doubt it matters which, but I used the right one (looking from the rear).

My craftsman jack won't fit under the front to install the engine motor mount so I want to jack up from the side one of the front tires and and then jack up the front itself.

I also have a craftsman jack and I personally realized that it doesn't fit under the front of the vehicle. What I wound up doing was jacking it from the side with the scissor jack and then swapped out the fog light bulb for an LED one. I know we're not supposed to waste time while the car is suspended only with a scissor jack, but both sides wound up only taking 5 minutes.

Whenever I get around to painting my calipers, I think I'll use the scissor jack and then use the floor jack to properly lift the vehicle and then put it on jack stands. Three jacks to get the job done? Why not?

Honda Civic 10th gen Jacking up / jack point ? IMG_20170929_191536924

I'm working myself up to paint the calipers on my si. My other car is a cx5 and when ive done brakes, jacking the front and rear to get jack stands in place was cake. On the si the front looks pretty straight forward although deep, in the rear are either of the 2 points i circled above what people used to jack up the rear to insert jack stands on the sides?

Thanks

Yup, those are the jack support points I've used to jack the rear up.

Thanks for the confirmation. I got under the car yesterday and those look like very usable. They didnt design the front one very well. Its recessed and I cant see it when laying down under the car. If it had a slight protrusion past where the silver skid plate was that would have been nice. Regardless my harbor freight 3 ton low profile floor jack doesnt reach it. The part where the pumping arm connects to the floor jack is too high to clear the underside. I'm going to have to do this in parts. Raise it by the front side points, put something under the front tires and then use the floor jack to get to the center point to get jack stands under the sides. Anyone use another approach to hoist the front for the purpose of removing the wheels?

I just got some 2 x 4s that I had cut into 3 foot pieces from Home Depot. I drive onto those and then can jack the front up.

At first, my car, a coupe, wouldn't clear my ramps, but the pieces that were hitting, little things that look like small mud flaps but in front of the tires came right off with three screws that were easy enough to get to without it being jacked up. Once on the ramps, its way easy to get a jack under that point where the rear motor mount is if you need it any higher or if you want to switch the ramps with jack stands.

The 10th gen has baby little jack points. I don't like to use them as my jack starts to slip after a few inches of lift, I just use a lift and have the car lifted from the two frame rails

Your floor jack slips from the outside lift point? Its probably because of the design of those points (ie. flat) That's kind of scary. I havent tried on the civic yet but I cut a circular piece of oak that I keep in the floor jack cup. I've been using that to prevent damage to my cx5 when I was lifting it from the rear differntial and the front life plate. What Im afraid of is if that is used to lift the civic side jack points that way, the side jack point (which resembles an "L" shape) will bend into something more like a "V" :( Maybe Ill just make a wood ramp as suggested above. I would love one of those portable hydraulic lifts but thats outside of what Im looking to invest.

Thanks for the ideas.

I got four jack stand and a cheap floor jack because I don't trust any of those to not fail even if each supports up to two tons. Worse case scenario car get messed up by the jack stand.

What would be the best strategy to lift the 2017 hatch EX for oil and tire rotation? I've already done an oil change but I'm having a hard time finding the best way lift the rear of the car since those jack points are so small (almost impossible to fit a stand with the jack already lifting one side). I noticed a picture in this thread showing the rear jack point of the car but it is off center which makes me a little nervous.
