Statistics show you are way more likely to get blown at a car wash than have paint just blow off.
Big facts.Unless you get married
Feeling like a 4chan thread: "pics or it didn't happen"I wanna see pics.
Everyone is screwed because of the forced switch to water based paints. I don't know what year it happened but I think it was after 2010 as my 2010 CRV has very durable paint on it and has fewer paint chips than my 2017 Civic. The CRV has 5 times the klicks on it as my Civic.Da hell u smoking
Do you happen to know what the psi is at manual carwashes? I tried a quick google search but nothing came up. Haven't had any issues with the pressure hoses at my local carwash but, like you, I definitely don't linger over a spot too long and I generally keep the nozzle at least two feet away from the body.Feeling like a 4chan thread: "pics or it didn't happen"
But seriously, everyone is right, this post is either a troll or the op is a knob and hit his car with an unknown pressure sprayer TWICE.
I have an 1800 PSI washer at home and have used a bay sprayer but knew to not kiss the paint with the damned thing. Never had an issue and having a black car, I wash this thing more than any car I have ever owned.
I've owned all 3 all 2016 and upDa hell u smoking
I certainly don't know for sure but I do know from a "if I put my hand in the stream to clean it off, what it feels like" test. It is certainly more than the 1800 at home but not so much that it would break skin. Enough that you don't want to do it for long. If I had to guess, I would bet closer to 2500 psi.Do you happen to know what the psi is at manual carwashes?
Lol what are you 12?Prove it
what do you propose? never wash the car again? Obviously the fault is with the car.So you repeat the same procedure after they fixed it presumably using the same car wash? "Every time I touch the stove top burner when its orange it hurts my hand......"
The owner used a power sprayer of unknown power and has never come back with pictures, information or any form of followup.what do you propose? never wash the car again? Obviously the fault is with the car.
