Ordered this little piece painted in Berlina Black from ebay:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/233017020143?ul_noapp=true

Obviously the listing photo is photoshopped, I have seen that picture of our cars millions of times without the little lip, but if the photoshop is close, I think this little accent piece looks pretty sweet.

(I know we determined that the black painted pieces on the trims of the Hatchback aren't truly painted, but I read in multiple places that the paint color that best matches these is Berlina Black #NH547)

I will test fit it when it gets here before I make the final decision to attach it, but I will post pictures for you guys regardless of what I end up doing. at $36 painted, if it doesn't look good it's not a big deal, though I don't think it will be too drastic of a change to look terrible.

Some of these spoilers are so over priced. They should just do a group buy for $300.00 a piece. I would so get the casale.

Received the lip very quickly from Taiwan, paint was perfect, not a micro scratch to be seen. Berlina black is 99.9999% a match for the rear lower spoiler on the hatches, if anything the new lip was a tad glossier, but I'm assuming thats because the car is 3 years old with 75,000 highway miles on it. I'm sure over time the lip will match 100% exact.

Install was a little tricky, you will be struggling big time if you try and do this on your own, though I'm sure it could be done with some strong tape to hold the curvature of the lip. Definitely ask someone for help and it will only take 5-10 minutes. do it on your own and you may be there for a lot longer.

The only downside, the lip comes completely straight, so you have to bend the crap out of it to get it to match the curvature of the rear spoiler. It is PU, so you can bend the shit out of it without damage, cracking, etc, and the ebay posting does say a million times that you will have to bend the lip to get it to match the curvature, so it wasn't a surprise.

Nonetheless, it matches up perfectly with the corners of the rear spoiler once bent, so they definitely anticipated the bend.

What I did to get it started was push the lip against the backside of the lower spoiler and held it with pressure there for a minute so I could match the curve, but you have to continue to bend it as you stick it on as it tries very hard to bend back to straight. Instructions recommend a heat gun so it bends and stays easier, but I did not use one. I may go outside in a little bit and hit it with a heat gun and give it a good pressing all the way around just to get the adhesive really cured to the car.

These hatchback Sports should have definitely come with a lip like this/similar to this. It looks OEM. I am extremely happy with the way it came out, but let's hope it lasts a while. I saw no 3M branding on the tape used to stick it, so I'm not sure what they used. I will report back in a few weeks/over the next few months to report on how it's holding up. My car sees 600 highway miles/week so it's definitely going to get its fair share of wind pressure.

Definitely hold out for this, it's like an Si sedan spoiler on the hatchback. It's coming out real quick.

This one is so close to what I've wanted for the hatch, but the shape is still too odd. Looks like I'm going to stick with my extension for the near future.

Spoiler or wing are usually subjective to personal taste, and the design and shape look different from different angles on the car. I'll hold up until I see the real thing with my own eyes.

It's the same spoiler on the lower trim FK8 as well.

Has anyone purchased one of the spoilers from China instead of Taiwan like the one here??
I've bought stuff from sellers marked a different country and the item dispatches from China. So there's always a chance the seller is merely dropshipping.

Not an issue for US buyers, but taxes or fees could be higher for any European country. Not sure for the UK.

Why don't you send the seller a message? They're usually pretty friendly.
