No, I'm talking about the hatch back. Not the coupe.

The hatchback price for that part is $127
part#
71119-TGG-A00

While the sedans is $26

That’s crazy. The only difference is that yours has a few tabs that the other civics do not.

Yeah, makes me wonder if that piece serves any other purpose other than to shield the radar from debris and direct light. I mean, it looks just like a plastic film to me.

I'm asking because I want to do a hatchback front bumper swap with my sedan. But I have Honda sensing... so i want to make sure its compatible.

We're having our first wet snow event since I got the car and the radar was disabled to to a snow-covered sensor. I pulled into my garage and cleared the solid plastic cover, but I still have the disabled warning even after stopping/starting the engine.

I saw an earlier reply that snow could be built up behind it. Just out of curiosity, when the radar is no longer obstructed, does the warning clear on its own and the systems enabled themselves or does the engine have to be stopped/started?

Btw, does anybody know if that plastic "do not paint" cover serves any other purpose than to protect the radar? Can the radar still work if that plastic was removed? I'm just trying to figure out why that piece would be so expensive for the hatch... but dirt cheap for the sedan.
When I replaced the fog lights with LEDs I drove it with the vents off a coupe miles to a covered garage to check the alignment and the drove back home and no warnings or errors.

Once got the radar obstructed error during a heavy rain and it persisted until the dealer recalibrated it.

Another time got it during a light snow. The snow just started and there was no accumulation anywhere on the car (or road), error went away shortly after the snow turned to rain. Seems sensitive to just having snowflakes falling.

And yes regular cruise control is also disabled even though it has nothing to do with the radar or camera.

Once the obstruction is clear, the system will need to reinitialize, so it will take a short amount of driving to clear the warning

This would drive me nuts if i have this kind of error on my dash. I guess its one of the pros of not having any of these driving aid that needs sensors. Hopefully OP has nothing too serious issue and get resolve quickly.
I know what you mean,so glad i bought an 2018 and not 2019-2020

Random bump, but does anyone know if the entire side grill will fit into a Type-R bumper? The opening would be perfect for an oil cooler.
