The tire pressure recommendation sticker provides a value for less than 160kph and another for 160kph and above.

I don’t remember my previous cars to have the such pair of values, but i recall reading that at higher speed/rotation, the tire deflect quicker. Hence the higher recommended pressure recommended for 160kph above.

But should i follow the recommended over 160kph one even if most of the daily drive is under 160kph but hit over 160kph on some part of the highway, or should i keep it for the one recommended for less than 160kph?

My typical 1.5 hours drive (going to work, and the same going back) is usually less than 160kph (and stuck in traffic) for most of the time and i go 160kph to 180kph for probably just 5 to 10 minutes. Occasionally if i work late, i sometimes go 200kph.

I am looking forward to your answers.

Thanks in advance.
