No I think it's the hks intake that does. The bov is weird. Some have issues and a lot don't but mostly what I read is it's when you're revving just to rev at a stand still and it has issues when the revs drop down.
do you have this issue also?

Is bov make the car run rich??
Any non-recirculating BOV/diverter valve will cause the car to run rich, as you are venting already metered air to the environment.

You have to run a MAP instead of a MAF for a non-recirc BOV to work without issues.

Great test, thanks @Hondata. Really wish they had access to the PRL HV intake at the time though. I really want to see how it keeps the temps cool up top.

Cancel those HKS intake orders!
LOL...
The HKS looks similar to stock design but with a carbon box for better heat rejection and a better filter.

"Aftermarket CAI" haha, I love the "wooosh" sound:yes:
Basically anything that has an enclosed box should be fine. Preferably without an aluminum piping for the intake pipe.

Even then, i don't think you'd get any considerable gains. At least you won't lose any power. i also believe that gains are different on the road due to the amount of air you'd be getting compared to having 3 fans in front of the car at a dyno.
And with an aftermarket tuning solution, it might be different also.

Honestly factoryair box with the drop in filter and tube from PRL is where it's at. Good sound, likely best performance, and very cost effective. I'm also too old to have a loud blow off so that is probably why I haven't bought the PRL stage 2 yet.

Well, $400 for sound, lolol. Now I'm wondering if I properly heat shielded my Mishimoto Intake box if that would help, especially on the bottom where it is near the downpipe.
