He's right! Sorry for not being good about keeping these threads up to date, guys. We've been swamped just trying to get new stuff released. Instagram is always the best way to stay up-to-date. The same posts push to our Facebook account though, so that's not a bad runner up. :)

Hi Russ,

I hope you didn't mind me mentioning that they went live!

Not in the least. I appreciate you guys keeping this updated and not roasting us for not being on the forums enough. We love car forums, but with development time in such short supply here, we tend to keep our noses down and work on new parts. haha :)

Have a good weekend, civicx!

Any updates on the Esco v2 shift knobs?
Assuming you mean the V2 version of the insulated version? We just launched the Esco-T6 in aluminum in a few colors.

Regarding the V2 insulated design, nothing interesting yet. It's in design, but we are picky with the Escos since the shape is our baby. haha. We have not forgotten and hear you guys asking! :)

Yep, the insulated version, any ETA on release? I need a heavier knob to go with the SSK:D

No ETA presently. We sell the original still, but it's a direct only item and supplies are limited. There's a spot on that product's page to sign up for restock notifications though so you can swipe one quickly when they restock. :)

The aluminum shift knob is awesome!! I just bought the red one from Garage16 and installed it in the parking lot before my drive home and wow what a difference. It feels better in the hand and the little bit of extra weight compared to the stock one makes going into gear smoother. 10/10 couldnt be happier with any other knob. Now to install the cable bushings I bought at the same time :D

@ACUITY What kinda discounts can we expect for Black Friday / Cyber Monday? Is it gonna be a fixed percent off everything or will it vary per product?

We haven't established it yet. Likely some better shipping incentives and site-wide discounts. We're also seeing if we can get some limited-edition freebies to toss into order, but no guarantees yet.

Should ship tomorrow (monday) morning if you ordered it direct. You're going to love it! :)

Hmmm. @ACUITY posts today, but doesn't mention the new POCO shift knob+boot retainer in the "official launch" thead?

$89 gets you a metal ball-type shifter in either black or red - I think red would look good in a Type R. I think that the cool thing about POCO is that it lowers the shift position - that's why it has its own custom boot retainer.

I'm guessing that if your usual driving/shifting position is your arm resting or just above the center console, then the POCO will get the shift knob low enough that the ball falls 'readily into the palm of your hand.'

You can accomplish something similar by cutting new threads into the shifter rod and using the Type R ball shift knob (and boot retainer) as I've outlined elsewhere, but the POCO is a much more convenient and hassle-free solution. (Myself, at the moment I'm on a bit of a reverse kick - I want the shift knob very high - which means that I use the ACUITY shifter.)
