I cant even get my velocity stack bolts into the air box, because the holes are misaligned.
And we have people complaining about the gap lol

I had trouble with the stack at first too but I had too many bolts in and had 1 that kept misaligning. I ended up removing all but that one misaligned bolt and put it in first. After that, it all went smoothly.

I'm bummed for I still haven't received mine yet. Quite a few of us out here in CA are still waiting, the perks of living on the opposite side of the country haha.

Mine was like that at first but I found if I put my hand underneath that side and twisted and pulled towards the pipe I could get it a lot closer. Just a suggestion.
I don't have a problem with the bottom and inner bottom part. My problem is the part near the vac hose. It's being pulled toward the airbox for some reason. If I remove the vac hose, I could minimize the gap and clamped down. But I couldn't get the vac hose in after that. As you can see from my pic, I spent so much time gripping and twisting the hose that the tape outside lost its shine.

This is my 3rd intake, I used all my tricks and the gap still there. A second person tried also to eliminate the gap and it was not possible. Even when there was a almost no gap, after a couple of pulls the hose will slide out of the turbo inlet pipe and create a gap.
I made sure to use a sock wrench instead of a flathead screwdriver because you can tighten it more. Also, I suggest everyone to doublecheck and retighten the clamp after driving around for a while. I've found that I could tighten the clamp a quarter turn more after that. Not just this intake, but the one I had previously too.

Looks like you’re rubbing:

How do I fix that rubbing?
I haven’t fixed mine yet. I’ll try rotating the silicone hose first. If this doesn’t fix it, I’ll proceed to cut the silicone by 2mm where the flange mounts (a suggestion to @PRL Motorsports).

Drove today for 11/2 hrs and maf temps behavior on stop and go traffic plus highway driving beats the stock airbox with high flow filter and prl stage 1 and the mishimoto intake out of the water. Temperatures went as low as 6 degrees above ambient at one moment. Mostly stayed about 8-9 degrees. Even on traffic when it will get 130deg hot as soon as you start driving it goes down quick. Nice work PRL.
Nice work!
What temps were you seeing with the PRL stage 1 tube and filter, for comparison?

Yes, it is. I mentioned it in my previous post. What tool are you going to use to cut it? I looked at the Stage 1 hose and notice that the evap hose is a lot shorter as well.
Sharp Xacto knife with the clamp in place (but hose removed from the car) as guide. Just a plan for now. Haven’t done it yet.

What's everyone's IAT after the intake? I'm seeing 135-140 degrees with regular driving in 110 degrees haha...
