2019 Civic Sport Rim Damage

Just curious for anyone who may have dealt with this situation before, do dealers/repair shops offer to buy the scuffed rim after it is replaced? Or should I expect to pay the full cost of a new rim + labor and taking the old rim back home?
I do like the idea of having a full-size spare handy, though, if I can procure an extra tire for it.

Bruh ive scratched my rims and took it to a local wheel repair shop. Cost me 65$for about the same damage you have. Just lost my clear coat on that section they snaded and polished.

I did the same thing a week ago. I can be a little OCD when it comes to my car. So I didn’t waste any time, I just ordered a replacement rim. I got the 9th gen Si rims on mine. So a new one was just $160. As a matter of fact it should be on my doorstep any minute now. So it depends how picky you are. I knew if I got it repaired I would never be 100% happy. So I had to do what I had to do . I just looked online and you can buy a new rim for the same cost they are trying to charge you. Or even a refurbished rim which is just as good as a new one

I know this isn’t the smoked sport rim but just an example. This is the Si rim. But you should be able to find yours for the same price
