I wonder if those enhanced fake vents fit the old style fake vents.

Sport 6MT comes with CarPlay/AA. Unexpected but good move. It’s the trim (in hatchback form) to get if you don’t want leather or step up to the CTR. Sweet!

Interesting news. I was literally at the dealer test driving the Sport hatch yesterday as well as an Accord sport. Torn between those two and the CRV (which my wife already owns). I was going to hold off to make sure the MY 2020 update info was released before I made a decision. But I didn't expect it to be anything significant. Apparently I was wrong. Now I'm definitely interested to see what they do with the Sport. The one thing I liked about the 2019 Sport was the ease the stock radio could be replaced with aftermarket for a higher-end aftermarket stereo. I'd actually prefer to not have the 7 inch "better" radio. So, maybe dealers will have more incentive to make good deals on the 2019's in stock. That said, I do dig those new wheels and will be interested to see what the interior looks like with the 2020 version.

Thanks for posting the info guys.

The 2020 Civic Hatchback goes on-sale tomorrow
So, I can go to my dealer and expect to see a 2020? Or is this "goes on sale" more like a figurative term where some dealers might have them?

Edit: Yes.

Perfect timing, too, because I'm taking my 2006 Civic to the dealer tomorrow to get the SRS indicator checked out. So I can walk the lot and see them in person.

I'm eager to see the interior. I want to see this 'geometric' design in the Sport.
Ditto.

And the increased sound insulation interests me as well.

Also, I'm not feeling the "cross bars" in the vents. It's a busy design, imho.

So, to make sure I understand, the new 2020 Sport Hatchback (non Touring model) will have the same sound system as the 2019 EX?

I'll bet those new Sport wheels will end up also being the new Si wheels (possibly not blacked out) so that they won't match the design on the now sport and touring sedan/coupe. I wonder if the Si will also get the new HB bumper, since they were shared pre-update as well.

That's what it looks like. This is exactly what I was hoping for - the infotainment, phone connectivity, and audio system of the higher trims in the standard 6MT hatch. That was the only thing I really was hoping for in the 2020 to convince me it would be OK to stick with the base Sport hatch. Very excited to test drive one of these.

So, other than the outside cosmetics, they are basically unifying the US and Canadian trim specs lists... Good. Now give us Canadians some of the options that the US has and we don't. Like the sedan/coupe EX-T they took away and the sedan/coupe EX-L that we never ever had... Or the option for a 6spd in either of those two trims

Perfect timing, my lease for my 2017 Hatchback Sport matures March 2020 and soon I can get to working on a new lease.

Edit: Thank you so much for the info. I was waiting and waiting for info on the 2020 Hatchback line.

This is what I got from the Honda Corporate bulliten

So it looks like the manual will be getting the Honda sensing, without Low-speed Follow, one could speculate that the type R will receive the same treatment.

It's weird to me that the Sport apparently doesn't get HD or SiriusXM radio capability - What year is this?
