It would never sell here. Japanese market is drastically different than the US market. Different needs for different people. :patriot:

Too small is the biggest issue. And given the declining sales of small cars in the USA, it wouldn't sell enough to justify the cost of making and shipping them. Now, if honda could create a small EV crossover based on this car with a similar powertrain, that might work a little better over here.

understood that this car is small, but are you guys are forgetting this is full electrical? This thing should give the BMW i3 a run for it's money, as this small little Honda e is perfect for buzzing around urban areas.

EDIT: I wonder how much $$ this thing starts at?

ok, if this thing is $50k, then i won't even thing about it...I got rid of my 2015 i3 for the promaster van, and in a next couple of years, I'll probably be jumping back into an EV to offset the cost of gas.
I currently spend $450 per month on gas :(

Pricing is currently unknown. Most publications assuming it'll be in the $45k (not including tax exemptions) range give or take which seems like A LOT considering it's only going to have about 130 miles of range. Granted. Honda has promised a more upscale "premium" interior... but considering you could get a Tesla Model 3 for less money and more range.... yea, swing and a miss. It is a perfect little city car... but for that cost and range there are already better options from Chevy, Tesla, Nissan, etc etc.

Pretty sweet. I’ve always wished we had a different “spokesperson” for Honda.. Never liked HPJ.
