Got mine installed today too. Over all it's pretty nice.

Would like the connecting pipe between the air box and inlet pipe 1/2" longer. 1/4" on the inlet pipe would be more assuring and 1/4" on the airbox connection too.
Minor gripe I agree but it seems most who have installed these has the same gap issues.
The gap problem is growing on me.

I installed my intake on Sunday. For the most part it was an easy install. I would advise having a 5.5mm socket handy in case you strip one of the clamp’s philips screws like I did. Overall, it took me about 1.5 hours to install the intake.

I don’t have a gap.... you need to use your man power to get it on... that’s all :)
This is my 3rd intake, I used all my tricks and the gap still there. A second person tried also to eliminate the gap and it was not possible. Even when there was a almost no gap, after a couple of pulls the hose will slide out of the turbo inlet pipe and create a gap.

@PRL Motorsports is this gap something that is being looked at for the second batch?
Yes, we have been discussing ways to fix this, keep in mind that cut lengths can differ slightly from piece to piece, but we are looking at correcting this.

So there’s an actual issue that’s being fixed? Does that mean people with gaps will get replacement hoses or how will that work?

Thanks.

No worries here, the hose sizes we have are correct, its not a production issue, but rather our explanation of how to install it given that there are various ways to rotate and position the components so that they fit properly. It is possible that there have been some hoses that have a slight dependency but those that have corrected this issue have done so by adjusting the intake components in unison for optimal fitment.
