I hate being persuaded for something i don't need

IAT2 is after the intercooler. the PRL end tanks and piping are well worth the extra dollars. Greddy doesnt even look like they tried very hard on this.I always get it mixed up, is it IAT1 or IAT2 that's post-intercooler on Hondata?
Also anxious to hear more on this. I'm between this or PRL, and an intercooler is likely my next purchase.
I have the type 28, the piping looks the same for both intercooler. I installed it myself, took me no longer than 3 hours. Everything is straight forward.Did you get the type31 or 28? Which piping does it come with? looks like hot side and partial cold side. any install pics?
Really easy, probably the hardest part of the install is removing the front bumper, lol!Yeah... I'm interested in how it was on the install with those hard pipes?
Not sure what you are trying to imply here, hundreds of post have been mentioning how good PRL here no need to say anything negative to something you actually havent seen.IAT2 is after the intercooler. the PRL end tanks and piping are well worth the extra dollars. i expressed my opinion.. stop being a fetus. Not sure what you are trying to imply here, hundreds of post have been mentioning how good PRL here no need to say anything negative to something you actually havent seen.
Happy sunday!i expressed my opinion.. stop being a fetus.
I guess you could always heat wrap the piping. That would probably achieve the same results as a coated tube.If GReddy offered ceramic coated piping and I didn’t buy the prl intercooler a yr ago, I would probably go with GReddy because the lower price. It’s a bargain from a reputable company, comparing mishimoto’s intercooler kit that costs over 1k. I believe all these aftermarket intercooler does a good job cooling off air and keeping heat soak to minimum, I just don’t know if I want my piping to be aluminum, they get fairly hot in the engine bay. At least my ceramic coated piping from prl is warm to touch, doesn’t get too hot.
Yea, but I didn’t have to. my iat2 is always 5-20 degree lower than iat, and prl kit doesn’t require cutting of the oem dust guard.I guess you could always heat wrap the piping. That would probably achieve the same results as a coated tube.
Perhaps you are using some kind of meth post IC? I do not know of anyone with the 10th Gen platform that is achieving 5-20* lower than IAT1 with any configuration.Yea, but I didn’t have to. my iat2 is always 5-20 degree lower than iat, and prl kit doesn’t require cutting of the oem dust guard.
He’s using Hondata so iat is post ic and iat2 is maf.Perhaps you are using some kind of meth post IC? I do not know of anyone with the 10th Gen platform that is achieving 5-20* lower than IAT1 with any configuration.
OEM dust guard fits around the super tiny prl intercooler because its not much bigger than stock.Yea, but I didn’t have to. my iat2 is always 5-20 degree lower than iat, and prl kit doesn’t require cutting of the oem dust guard.
