Gt man....what gear were u in when you were doing these test? D, S, L ?
In D. I think you were using L for your WOT runs weren't you? Since L keeps those revs really high maybe doing multiple pulls in L shot your IAT's up.
How do I do this database?
"Data logging" actually. Do you have a V2 or V1.2?

For non-Si, a free-flowing grille (Procivic or ebay) might just do the trick. Add intercooler only if you beat on or track the car. For cheap (~$85) CAI, a PRL Stage 1 is a good setup.

I have v2
Here's a V2 tutorial from KTuner. Go to a little after the 6 minute mark and JR will explain how to record and view datalogs.

I flashed back to the Ktuner starter 21 tune with max adjustments to see if that mattered in 95 degree heat with 80% humidity and realized the only hope for me is likely a PRL Intercooler. Both tunes are still awesome though.

Have you tried the grille or turbo blanket yet? Those made a bigger difference for me with fun day to day driving more than the intercooler. Don't get me wrong, the PRL Intercooler is great, but I'd do the cheaper/easier mods first if I were you.

I only bought the IC because it was an offer I couldn't refuse. Honestly if I were to do it all over again, I probably would've done the intercooler last or not at all, at least not until I upgraded the turbo.

Keep something in mind here. You live in San Jose which overall has much cooler temps and way less humidity than the oppressively hot/humid area of Florida blackdogman drives in. You're right though, any cooling mod helps.. grille, turbo blanket, IC, CAI. Even something as simple as the PRL stage 1 will help a bit because the thick silicone intake hose keeps things slightly cooler than the stock hose.

Here's a good, basic explanation I found online regarding heat, humidity and power:
What matters here is that cold air is denser than hot air. That means that in the summer, your intake receives less concentrated levels of oxygen than in the winter, causing the engine to lose horsepower trying to make up the difference. The other problem with warm air is that it can suspend more water particles when it’s humid out, which further displaces the oxygen. If you have a turbocharger, you’ll especially notice it there. To prevent a rich mixture (too much fuel) and engine knocking, less fuel is sent to the combustion chamber, and the ECU adjusts the timing. All of this has a negative effect on performance.

NVM I didn't realize he's in FL--he might as well do the IC along with every other cooling mod ASAP then.

It gets hot here, but FL heat and (even worse, to me) humidity. . . UGH.

An intercooler will help, but not as much as you might think. If most of the driving is around town then not much air will flow over the intercooler then it won't be a big change. On the freeway where air can flow over the intercooler then it will make an improvement. The stock intercooler doesn't do that bad on the freeway though.

I bought the tune last Thursday (manual transmision), I've been testing it these days and it's incredible, it feels great, a job very well done. The power comes in very smooth but very fast, there isn't any abrupt spikes or deeps of power and the top end feels filled now. The throttle response feels amazing, very responsive but you feel you have the control. I'm very happy with the tune and for the price I absolutelly recommend it. I did a little rolling race againts a friend who has the starter21 tune with impoved1 mods, catless downpipe, PRL intercooler + pipes, 3" hks exhaust, Short ram intake, single mass flywheel and clutch, I only have the mishimoto FMIC without pipes, modified stock exhaust and a kyn drop in panel filter + TSP stage1 tune and we are very close in power.

An intercooler will help, but not as much as you might think.
Intercooler will help to make a tinny bit more hp, but the best way I can describe it is: it will make consistent power.

I have a question for @D-RobIMW. Is 10.8 - 11 AFR at wot ok with this tune? I've seen you have another maf curve for ECU's that stay in open loop at wot or go richer for other reason.

Derek aims for 11.4 but since we have open loop, the MAF curve is kept on the conservative side to avoid leaning out close to 12. It is very difficult to hit 100% your AF targets at open loop and in this context you can only stay on the safe side with a generic tune...

The TSP tune is a file. You need to upload that file to a slot in your KTuner and then flash that tune to the ECU.

Did you buy it used or new through TSP? If used, it may already be loaded to one of the 5 tune slots. But, your seller should have given you the actual file as well.
