Hi Folks,
I have a 2016 Honda Touring and the AC has stopped working. It is past 3 years, any thoughts if the dealer will warranty repair it ? I have read online lots of complaints about the AC not working, anyone else have the same issue ?
Thanks !

Being a mechanic I have seen these issues a lot. Usually it is a condenser issue or a compressor. The condensers on these cars are notorious for failing. Best thing to do is at least take it to a shop to be inspected. If you do not have Honda Plus extended coverage they may not cover anything at all. Though some dealers are nice and offer goodwill warranty up to one year outside warranty period and 20,000km. Unfortunately if they are not willing to cover it, it won’t be cheap as our cars use R1234yf which is a lot more expensive than R134a which was the refrigerant they used on older generations.
