The question is the title will it rub? Personal experience preferred.

Yes you will rub with +35. The people that answer saying they do not rub have not tested for full compression or lock to lock turning. Yes you may get away with no rubbing for 90% of the cases but if you have a loaded car or are pushing, you will get rubbing.

exactly!

I hate when I read, no rub, all good, go get it, find out that's not true...people are in denial or don't drive it in my conditions I guess lol. I see some say a 18x9.5 35 offset with 265/35 don't rub, I'm like, yeah, right, hahahaha. I thought that at first...for 5 minutes...then was like, oh yeah, I rub. Then got rid of my springs and still rub on occasion

I’m curious if using a thinner wheel would help the rubbing issue. Say 245 width or 235 width tires.

Guess I should have mentioned that I run 245 / 40 tires. I'm not kidding when I say I don't rub. I take fast turns and even execute u-turns without any rubbing at all! Like I said I have a light family. I weigh about 135, my wife is about 115, and my 2 kids are still young and under 80 pounds. I was skeptical about getting my set up but I absolutely do not rub at all. I wouldn't say it if it wasn't true. I have nothing to gain that way. If you lower, then yes I would say it is possible to have some rubbing but stock suspension I am safe.
