Dear Friends,

First of all let me explain what is my questions about.

I already have initial support and i add some part to my car so i need to retune my car. Then i look into ktuner software i solve my maf scaling settings. Then next step is boost tables.

I can reach some table and i need to know how it works some of tables.

1-) WOT Enrichment

IT looks like which afr value do you need to happens in yourcar during revving. I dont have any trouble with this table.

2-) Normal Boost table.

When i see this table i realize that there is one more different coloum upside of table and its values are little bit different then downside table values. What makes that different table works?

3-) Eco Boost Table.

I know that in eco mode there is another map ffor car and its for that setting.

4-) Target Boost Table

The place which is starting point of my questions. This table also have different row and i tried to change it, car became totally different act on gas pedal.

I just want to know the different upside rows functions for the tables.

By the way i m open for your ideas. And please explain to me very detailed.

Thanks for your replies.

2-> The top row is current atmospheric pressure. When you are at sea level you will use any of the values in the right as a boost target in WOT. When you are on a mountain atmospheric pressure will drop and you will use some other value, like -0.6 or -1.1 column. The lower the atmospheric pressure, the lower the targeted boost, to protect the turbo from overspooling. This is the same for ECO boost table.

4-> I think you are referring to Final Boost Target. You don't need to edit that unless you want to run 23 or more psi of boost, in which case you should probably work with an experienced tuner or you may easily end up with bent rods

I was testing a custom boost map just the other day. Unless you're knowledgeable and comfortable (in that order) I wouldn't stray outside of OTS tunes.

I believe final boost target allows for atmospheric variance on the namesake. However, I also believe this is the table one must modify to extend the upper range of possible boost past what OTS Tunes will provide.

The table acts as a mapping, of sorts, from what desired boost from other calculations/tables yield. Not sure off the top of my head whether the final number is piecewise or interpolative per the table.
