Just got my PRL intake tube. I struggled to see how I could move it in a way to avoid hitting what I think is the radiator hose...and worst of all the clamp holding the radiator hose.

However thanks to the replies I was able to not only rotate that radiator hose clamp easily without issue but I also loosened both ends of the prl tube and rotate it slightly. It no longer rest on the radiator hose nor hits the clamp

Pics below show my issue. Page 2 shows it after a slight adjustment

How bout try and reset the clamp around some? I think that would be easiest.
I tried...wouldnt budge...but maybe just tired lol.

I'm worried since it's part of the radiator clamp that if I move it it will rip the hose apart....from all the heat

Dang, may have no choice. New hose and clamp. Cheaper than having that galvanized clamp eat away at the silicon. About ~$16 worth of parts.

If you were closer I’d help you out.

Hose Clamps:

I think tomorrow I'll spray it down to see if I can nudge it lose slowly.. not going to force it. Just blows my mind...am I the only one lol...or did no one notice.

Not to mention I'd still be resting the prl hose against the radiator hose on the other side.

I might try and see tomorrow if I can move it around some...but it didnt appear that way tonight

Most likely no one noticed.

Do you think you can shim the lower grommet to increase the height some? That would maybe bring it higher.

FYI I haven’t installed mine yet, but I’ve started to prep. So I’m interested.

Think I'll just sell this PRL hose also. Stock seems best. Doesnt seem to be any solid products anymore
Not going to lie, I almost feel the same. Need to change the filter? 1 min.

I’m sure it wouldn’t be as much a problem if this piece was metal. HKS I think is metal but then look how wacky they want you to buy some stupid fuel modifier.
