JDM exhaust with downpipe/frontpipe and NO DRONE

Trying to decide which exhaust to go with.
This is my daily driver and I commute 30 highway minutes each way so I CANNOT have a bad cruising drone.

I want to eventually get front/down pipe so I'm weighing my options on exhaust.

So far it looks like I'm limited to HKS Hi-Power Spec L and Spoon.

Any other options out there?
I prefer the look of the Apex'i N1-X (big exhaust tips and no gap in between or on the sides). Anyone have experience with this exhaust?
How about the J's Racing SUS 70RS?

Fujitsubo is definitely sick too but I just know some shit head in Atlanta will steal the carbon fiber tips. Someone stole the tips off my friends Z06 Akrapovic exhaust.

The spec-L's look great but wish the tips were larger diameter.

it's expensive but the quality is there.
i'm sure if you shop around, you can find one for 3k. It's expensive but i think it's worth it. It wasn't my choice because it was dual tips. If it was 3, i would've probably went fujitsubo. I had a fuji on my s2000 and i loved it.

Feel like someone's going to steal the tips here in Atlanta. Have had my Rays valve stem caps stolen and my buddy had his carbon fiber akrapovic exhaust tips stolen from his Z06 and they won't sell him just the tips.

As much as I like the fujitsubo it may be too stressful to leave in a parking lot lol

Is the Sequence Manufacturing Exhaust an option? It might be a shade under $3k.

I'm not a fan of the triple tip exhausts. I prefer dual large tip exhausts. Plus I'm a sucker for JDM brands.

I don't think I can handle being paranoid about someone stealing my carbon fiber tips. Going with the Apex'i for now because I love the look and price.

My spec L is great. Doubt anyone would take the tips... they are welded on. Unless they really just wanted some carbon fiber circles. Once the exhaust tips blacken I’m sure the carbon won’t stick out as much. I didn’t think Apexi quality was as good as HKS but I’m judging that purely on what they offered for my previous car.

I wish Akropovic made one for the R. The one they make for the golf R sounds killer. Good luck in your search.

Decided to go with the Apex'i. Love the way it looks as far as size and the gap between the tips and the diffuser.

Not sure if I like the blue tips or not but I'll see when it comes in next Thursday.

A guy on Instagram sent me fly by sounds and it sounded great.

Hmm I'm in the same boat I'm thinking of just getting a catless down pipe and staying with the stock exhaust I just want a little bit more of sound when I get on it!!! Please post sound clips of the apex when you do get it installed I searched and couldn't find any
