just have to learn your way around the places and avoid bad roads. it sucks but you gotta do what you gotta do lol.

Jealous until you see prices for everything down here ...
I know my way around where I live haha, I just don’t wanna cry when I see it break! XD

And prices absolutely suck out here, where I live in Cali theirs no 93 station without a 45 minute drive and looking at about 5+ a gallon or more.

yeah I am in the mortgage business, a 400k house in cali is practically a shack lol. still though aside from the cost of living I'd move out there in a heart beat.
yeah it is a nice to place to live but everything is just so expensive.
The car culture down here is nice also although cops and smog can be a pain down here.

lol i do agree with you there. It sucks when you hear that initial scrape too but oh well haha.
I don't even have any 93 around me. Traffic is god awful too.

I think theirs one 93 station in Woodland Hills but it’s not worth the time or cost.. live out of Simi Valley. I assume you live in LA county?

yup. I live down by torrance. If i drive out to West LA i can get like 100 octane but meeeh.

the roads aren't too horrible down here so i can manage. i always do park reverse too so my front lip shouldn't end up being too bad.

yea like I said you just have to be cautious when parking/driving. I've had carbon front lips before with no issue.
I plan on adding a splitter under the front CF lip for a layer of "protection" if you will.

I live in houston Tx so I mean not bad but not great roads, highways everywhere basically

Maybe you gotta Learn2Park

Haven't cracked or shattered a CF lip in like 15+ years. Just don't follow cars in front of you too closely on the freeway and always reverse park or leave a big enough space between you and the curb.

I was planning on switching to all real CF and then adding the Varis CF stuff with it. Would love to see the seibon photos on the car.
Hahahaha that was a good one, touche my friend!

It will look great, especially after adding all 5 doors, fenders and rear body panel in CF

Damn, my heart breaks reading that. So based on your experience you're saying not worth the switch?!
I would never poop on someones parade and it being "worth it" is is a personal and subjective question only to be answered by the individual.
For me, just my opinion, the visual impact is almost invisible and I don't see any performance upside for myself, so it is not worth it for me.

lol this damn car. Nothing is in stock. Still another 2 weeks for my wheels, 2-3 weeks for my intake, and 2-3 months for my intercooler :banghead::banghead:

Yep...it’s definitely hard to wait! I actually don’t even have my CTR yet. Still waiting for it to arrive at the dealership. The waiting is killing me!! Just curious, what intercooler did you order? I ordered the PRL and had it delivered within a week.

HKS with piping. Also waiting for GruppeM intake to ship. Still trying to decide on an exhaust. I'm thinking of apex'i.
I'm a sucker for the JDM stuff.

I did the Seibon Carbon Front Lip (you can see my build - here)

Its fitment is not perfect but can make it work somehow. I also added the Seibon carbon side skirt! Those fit way more easily. Haven't posted pictures on those yet.
