Had the same problem with 2019 type r tpms it would come on even with specified wheel pressure , went to honda ,tech told me it didn't have to be at spec but yes at the same rate example if the car is 35/33 you can put them at 40/37 rear should always be at 3psi less this was by technician recommendations , ok now after he did the calibrations with the honda scan tool in my presence he then told me to test if the light came on again so after about 30 minutes at specified calibration speeds boom light on again , so what i did was i have my own scan tool a luanch x431 i purchased for my own work , hooked it up did a check system looked at the speed sensor system in the scan tool and what i found out is this system has to be programed either for summer or winter why? Because if its hot tires will inflate from heat causing difference in the speed sensors which causes the tpms light to turn on , so since i live in the tropics i programed them to summer , no more tpms and i have my tires at 40/37 rear to protect the wheel from pot holes , anybody having this problem constantly going with there brand new honda type r , look this up becuase this cant be just calibrated with your head unit any questions feel free to ask .

Our '18 sport hatch will randomly have this problem, as much as the tpms sensors in newer cars (looking at you, GM) can be a hassle, this system is pretty well worthless. It will randomly throw the light even when the tires are all at the right, and same pressure, but I've put on two smaller tires and driven around town, then smaller on all four and not gotten the light to illuminate, and had a sidewall blowout that it didn't catch until after I had swapped the spare on.

Did you program it through your scan tool? Mine has recently been going off lately and I figured that’s what it was but all I knew to do was keep recalibration get it. How do you set it to a summer setting because I live somewhere where it doesn’t snow and is winter only 2-3 months out of the year. Thanks for the help.
