Front Endlinks.... Possibly causing clunking?

Hey so ive been doing research on a couple threads based off some 10th gen drivers they keep getting this clunking noise. I recently started getting the same noise i am on coilovers + aftermarket endlinks. Im starting to the think the end links that came with my coilovers are starting to cause this noise. Any input would be nice!

If you had access to some ramps or a lift you can try to give the sway bar a couple hits with a soft sludge hammer to see if it moves. If it does, that is what is probably causing your clunk. You can often fix it by raising the car on both sides undoing the sway bar and then retighten the endlinks making sure to get the proper torque spec on them. I had this clunking on my car, another friends car we had a problem where we undid the ball joint underneath the hub and forgot to tighten back up which was causing clunking, you could check that too.

hit your driveway at a angle from both sides, clunks on both sides = end links

Do your hear the noise when going throught road imperfections or bumps? If so, you can try to brake when going over bumps and see if you can hear that any more. My car has been clunking from both front sides and they will disappear if I depress the brake pedal. I guess there's some play in the brake caliper.

Your problem sounds like the bottom ball joint, that is the same thing my friends car would do when it was loose. I've never had a car do that because of brakes.

I have the same problem. I took my car to the shop and they checked everything and they said all is good. But I still hear/feel over the bumps or bumpy road or when I'm turning and hit some bump I can feel/hear as well. When I'm going fast nothing always in lower speed. I don't know if bc racing made it just like that or it should be like that.

Im assuming people with aftermarket suspesnion have this problem im pretty sure its the endlinks tho. Thinking of putting my stock endlinks or go with a better brand endlinks. These BC ones seem trash

I think whiteline have good endlinks and they're adjustable. The rear is good only front ride like trash to me. When everything is tight how can you hear the noise? I think the problem is endlinks like you said.

You guessed right! Whiteline is what im aiming for! Its more of how i feel the car in certain road conditions. I thought it was my tire pressure being low checked everything is fine. Tbh gunna swap the BC out for the OEM ones for the time being.

Probably I will do it too. But also i don't know if they not gonna be too long.

I talked to my buddy hes on D2 coilovers said the D2 links snapped so hes been on oem end links. Shouldnt be a difference since they do try eye balling to oem.

There's indeed play in the brake caliper.

On my SI, the brake pads are moving which causing clunking all over the place.

We tried to glue up the brake pads to the galiper but it didn't help much.

I guess my pads was missed machined ?

My pads started clunking on expansion joints and small sharp bumps...dealer said it was normal and won’t reduce braking power...the pads pull of the discs in search of better fuel economy and less friction. I can only hear it when the windows are down and something reflecting the sound.
