Even after disconnecting and reconnecting battery i am still receiving CEL and rev match error. Could this be the culprit? I tried my best to put this as up as i could but maybe it needs to be all the way in?

you need to see what the CEL is ... the rev match error is a thing that pops up everytime a CEL pops up.

Only thing you touch that can maybe trigger a cel during an intake install would be the maf sensor really.

It is not supposed to be all the way in. Did you accidentally touch the MAF sensor when you install the intake? I didn’t disconnect the battery either and never had any issues.

Do you have any rubbing issue with the evap flange? I see that you rotate it, but that also rotate the hose upward, and it may rub against the hood.

I have not idea what it was but i tightened all the clamps again and blew some air on the maf sensor both ways then fired up the car and didnt get any errors. Honestly i think the maf sensor had something in it... so yea. Everything is working perfect!! Also the WOOOOSH is every boys wet dream. I did some pulls and will upload to see if my dashcam catches the noise! But thank you guys for all the help!!!

Editt, Sorry forgot to answer your question but yea facing it upward was a super tight fit so i just rotated it. Honestly i dont see it being a problem if we rotate it a little but if @PRL Motorsports can chime in on this that would be great!

I tried to adjust the silicone hose today. I followed the instruction by fitting the hose to the turbo inlet and the airbox first. I was able to eliminate the gap at the turbo inlet and tightened the clamp. However, there’s no way I could insert the vac hard line into the silicone hose after that because you can’t move it too much. But once the vac pipe is in, there’s no way I can close the gap at the turbo inlet.

I also tried to pull the vac pipe out a bit, but the evap flange still rubs. There’s not much room there. The stock intake hose is smaller and bends toward the front, leaving a lot of room for the evap flange. The silicon hose is bigger and not much of a bend. Also, the adapter for the evap flange adds more thickness to the flange itself.

This picture shows how much there is for the flange with the added thickness of the adapter.

My install went perfectly fine. I have no rubbing issues or anything like that. My only question is how long do I have to wait for this warning to go away?

And installed. My only issue is reusing the two black oxide collared bolts that used to hold the rubber flap. I won’t be reusing those to hold the roto-mold box in place. Instead I’m on my way to the hardware store to some suitable replacements.
