Unfortunately no , they were test fitted and blasted white immediately , I thought the Black rims didn't look good. Sorry , just being honest. But to each there own.

it's not that hard. You're essentially posting up same questions, IMO. No offense. As far as offset is concerned, ideally, you want to keep closest to stock. Have you checked out the FK8 aftermarket wheel guide? A lot of people are running 18x9.5 +45 or close to that offset. It's proven to work very well. If you want to be more aggressive, go +35. I wouldn't get anything lower than stock width, so all of your x 8 is out in my book. You could get the 19s, but IMO, you're getting more width for the $$. If i'm going down in diameter, i rather get more width. You also mentioned expensive tires. I wouldn't skimp out on tires, so just pay for some good tires. Look at the overall picture. You bought a high performance car, so keep it that way as best as you can. Just my .02....

That said, out of your group of wheels, personally, i would get 18x9.5 +45, Kojin wheels, more for your money i guess.

If you really want to go cheap, some people are running the below wheels. They're dirt cheap. I think they look pretty good. No issues so far, but i don't think anyone's tracked them. They'll be good for winter wheels or as a spare for your more expensive wheels.

Bought my CTR end of July 2018 and had my wheel/tire winter set-up installed last week by a local shop. Wheel/tire package purchased thru Tire Rack: Black Painted W/ Matching Lugs -- Montegi Racing MR924 19/8.5 53mm offset surrounded by BFGoodrich G-Force Comp-2 A/S 245/35ZR19 XL. No issues with rubbing or loss of performance in my opinion...car feel great! Hope this helps future buyers ~cheers

@Scrapdog I like that silver, Those would be sick on my Black Type-R, are those the 19"x9.5 ET45 5x120 CB73.1 set? Seriously entertaining buying a set of these if they fit on stock suspension without any rubbing in ALL modes.

I like the 924's. Does the 35 sidewall make a difference on rough road surfaces, over the 30 aspect of the OEM's? I'd like an All Season, but the 18's look too tame. I'm going to chance NOT switching to ICE/SNOW tires this time around, and going A/S. Might insure a snowy Michigan winter?

It does make a difference, but not so much that you feel a significant drop off in responsiveness & feel. It ends up being identical in height and width, with just a 1/2" more sidewall. Comfort is still comfortable, +R is still track firm. Plus theres the weight advantage over stock, the very close to stock offset and the identical scrub radius. I'd whine if I damaged one of the rims, I'd cry if I messed up a $500 wheel. Not a bad idea on the AS3, I'm in Atlanta & we only have a snowpocalypse (2 inches) every 10 years.

Or you could go with Superspeed rf03rr. They are $630 US a set up here in Canada. 18x9.5 +38 and they are light at 18.7 lbs. They come in matte black or silver.

Can I run 255/40/19's on the MR 924 wheels?
You might be able to get away with this (some people run 245-255/35/20’s on the stock rims. So it wouldn’t be too different. That said, it may be better to run a 255/35/19 so the diameter is close to stock. Note that 245/35/19 would keep the stock diameter intact.
