Can you just swab the rear Springs and Sway bar from 2018 Sport Hatch to SI w/o altering the stance or ride height?
@tomm9050 the sway bar shouldnt change anything. The SI Springs would lower it a tiny bit...like 10mm.

This doesn’t answer your comparison question, but this is my experience. I installed a SI rear bar and SI springs on my HB Sport over the winter. I finally drove it after the winter months. To me...The ride quality feels next to unchanged. Handling, on the other hand, is much improved. This will be my summer daily.
I have a buddy that tracks his BMW I8 and has a LX hatch for a commuter. He absolutely loved the SI setup on the hatch.

Did you just to the Rear springs or both frnt and rear?

Both were done. I now run and like the Eibach pro-kit much better. Eibach handles better and are much more balanced especially over 50mph. I had a white knuckle ride at 85mph due to the SI springs not being matched to the dampers.

Can anyone confirm that the Si springs will be a direct swap for the Hatchback LX?

Did you read any of this thread?
It seemed the posts were all focused on the Sport Hatch? .. a simple "yes" would have sufficed if that is what your sarcastic tone is suggesting :)

a simple scroll through the post and you will see that multiple times the LX hatchback was mentioned and will indeed work with SI springs.

I'm completely puzzled, need some help.
I have the Si springs on my LX Hatch, (I think I posted pictures in this thread) and today I compared the height of my car with my coworker's 100% stock Hatch Sport.
To my surprise, they are similar in the front. Mine is a little lower in the back. My tires are 225-40 R18 and his are 235-40 R18, so his a have a taller sidwall. I measured at the top of the fender.
I thought the Si springs are supposed to lower the car more then the Hatch sport.
Do the shocks have anything to do with the the ride height? Since my fronts are a bit too soft I don't mind changing them for something stiffer.

Ok, answering my own question. Stupid me, looked at the suspension and off course, since the springs are mounted on the shocks, if the lower part of the shock was shorter, the car would ride lower.
This is for the front only I guess, because in the back they are separated, so I would think, the shock should not influence the height.

Trying to decide whether to go with the Si springs (240 CAD shipped) or the Eibach Pro Kit (385 CAD shipped) for my LX Hatch.. are the Eibach's worth the extra cash?

I have the Si springs on my LX hatch and between the two I'd go for the Eibach and would replace the shocks too.
While an improvement over stock suspension, the front is still too soft an wobbly, even after installing a tower bar.
I suspect the lower part of the front shocks is longer for the LX since I compared the ride height with a Sport Hatch and it was pretty similar.
Personally, I think I'll be moving to Swift springs as soon as I find a suitable shock absorber.

Is a camber kit needed for both or just the Eibach's?

Are these part numbers still good for a 2019 Civic Sport Hatch?

Thx

Copied and pasted from the suspension thread above...

So if you have a Sport, EX, EL, EXl hatchback (excluding Type-R) you can swap in SI springs as a direct plug and play with no modding required. The SI springs is about a 10mm drop on all models except for the LX where it is closer to 15mm. So either way it's pretty minimal. If you wanted to swap in SI springs the OEM part numbers are.

Front right spring = 51401-TBF-A01
Front left spring = 51406-TBF-A01
Rear springs = 52441-TBF-A01 (need two of these)

*note left and right front springs are not interchangeable as the wingdings are reversed*

Having a Sport Hatchback as one of our R&D cars the switch to SI springs is a nice and simple upgrade and a difference you will absolutely feel. Very good for guys that don't necessarily want to change ride height dramatically.

I hope this helps.
