From what I understand....yes, it fits. But then I saw a very detailed doc from one of the aftermarket vendors showing what has to be done to swap it out..... :confused1::confused1:
I REALLY want to install a matching rear/front swaybar setup on my Sport but even if I didn't mind the cost to have someone professionally do it, I'd be too worried that in the process, something didn't get put back together correctly. It's REALLY intrusive!
It’s actially not. Definitely not as simple as the rear bar but not impossible.

Yes, certainly possible...but having to completely remove the steering rack? I think that qualifies as intrusive.

Had the Type R rear sway bar installed a couple of weeks ago, along with the Accord end links.
The effect on cornering and understeer is noticeable but not dramatic by any means.
Right away I noticed more firmness in the back. A bump in right side will transfer more readily now to the left through the more rigid bar. I would hope the models fitted with liquid filled bushings will dampen some of this.
The difference on the street is not huge, more like hmm, I could have gone quicker through that corner than Wow, this car just want to turn.
I've also tried a few rather extreme line changes on the(empty) hwy and it felt a bit wonky but nothing hair raising like on my 8th gen equipped with HFP suspension and Progress sway bar. That car just wants to turn, but one would need to do something completely crazy to spin it.
I actually felt that the oversteer is caused by the snap of the soft front suspension not the rear.

It is a nice addition but not the mod that completely changes the driving characteristics of my car.
Pretty sure it would make more of a difference if the car had a stiffer suspension set up. Stiffer springs that deal better with lateral load would probably let the bar do more.
I only have the Si springs and badly need better shocks.
I'm very happy I couldn't find a Si sway bar for a decent price since the effect would be minimal according to what I experienced now.

Ever find out about this? I'm getting my clutch replaced soon and figured if all this stuff is getting removed from the front I might as well look into having the front sway bar installed during the clutch replacement.
