Will these fit the FK7. Exactly what I am looking for...
No, sorry, Umaru-chan. FK8 CTR has a different fender than the FK7s. At least you have an option to get an OEM one though....

Word, regardless I appreciate the effort I have been following this project for some time. Nice work.

Hi all! By this time, i've completed the inquiries from the Google Sheet on both sheets.

I wanna thank everyone again for supporting my venture and appreciate the feedback/knowledge. If there are those who have sent payment, but haven't received shipping tracking, go ahead and let me know now. I switched to Google Form for future ordering. I've tapped into a couple of FB groups and looks like there might be some interest left for me to go on a few more runs. Interestingly enough, many are wondering about international support. So... I might be going worldwide?? lol. IDK, I'm still thinking small, but maybe I should start thinking a bit bigger. I'm still handling most of it on my own to ensure the low cost.

To those who got my rock-guards already? I'm hearing a lot of satisfactions for the price? Just random questions here that hopefully aren't gonna get too overthought. Think of it as an exit survey lol:
1.) Do you think the price is just right for what they are? (Please see my Google Form to see what kind of pricing strategy I went with)
2.) Would it be justifiable (for business folks out there) to charge higher if I were to provide the supplies that some of you had to get from Home Depot, etc? To some degree I can possibly supply those (not the moulding tape probably), but at the same time, I don't want them to end up being in people's toolboxes unused.
3.) I brainstorm an idea of possibly 'branding' my rockguards. Not the way you think of, but with the car company/model to which they're made for. So think of it as putting the R watermark on the flap part, or Honda logo/text on it. Is that too much? Someone suggested to me that this might put me under hot water with copyright infringement.

Thanks again, y'all! See you around the forum.
I'm loving my set! Super low key and do exactly want I wanted.

Here are the answers to your questions:

1) I feel like the price is perfect for what they are. You also have to consider the other company that started making them as well at the same price you're charging.

2) I believe you should include the hardware to make it easier for people and more convenient. I went to Honda for the screws and unfortunately the U clips from Honda were the screw goes onto is too big for the fender and they just kept falling off and was not securing the rock guard. I went with the Home Depot option and it was 100 times better and cheaper.

3) I think you will run into copyright infringement. To me that seems tacky considering the whole point of these were to be low key, but that's just my .2 cents. :)

4) I actually did't do the double sided tape portion on the rear just the screws. I wasn't fond of putting double sided tape on the paint.

That's definitely cool. I had just taken mine (moulding tape) off recently due to having my guards on and off for testing, so they got a bit dirty. Mine peeled out quite nicely, though I understand some concerns with the elements is possible....

I will think about supplying the parts for a future run. I think as I started accepting orders internationally, finding the additional parts might not be as easy as driving to Home Depot. I'll keep that in mind :). Thanks for your review.

Thanks for your responses, guys! :)

That's exactly what my experience has been. I had asked them to make one for our CTR but asked for the price point of the Accord that they made already. Looking at what they charge + the rather costly shipping charge, I think that was part of my reasoning to bail out with working with them.

Hi, thanks for making the comparison with RA, it's a much needed input for those who might be interested. I believe with mine, the most minimal protrusion that RA provides will the maximum of mine. My version would be able to tucked in more to reach the minimalist approach I'm going for. I'm thinking about .5" of flexibility to slide in and out.

As for the need of the rear to be protected... I'll leave it to the consensus when I do the Google Form survey. Thank you again for that insight.

That is true and hopefully I can meet somewhere in the middle and leave it up to the users. I can at least assure the height of coverage. Like I mention in the original post, my rock guards should cover 2/3 the wheel height from the ground.

To be determined :) Thank you for your interested. I'll try and be reasonable. As for quality, mine is not like RA's. The type of plastic I use is close to what is used in standard automotive industry. Think of those plastic cutting mats for your kitchen but thicker (0.3"), slightly more textured, and black. It's flexible enough to contour the wheel arch and sticky enough for molding tape.

Hey Bouford, thanks! Nice seeing you here on my own thread lol. I know you rock the CF one by oldskoolfab, so it's cool you took notice. I definitely took some inspiration of the minimalist approach that he had done to make his :). I don't think I'll be auto-crossing my R any time soon, but if people really want to test mine against intense driving, they can let me know here :) I'm sure they'll hold up though. I don't see a reason why they wouldn't.

Great idea. My only sugesstion is in the layout design.
Just like you made the rear top leading edge NOT jut out but as if starting out smoothly off higher if you will if gradually off wheel well tangent coming out to margin to ? inch(es) to block any debri from behind tire. Now that I looked at https://www.google.com/search?q=ZL1+Addons+ - thats the look I'm thinking.
Then if possible, as it drops down toward bottom, try to follow similar contour of body wrk ie the flared out side skirt albeit out far encough to protect cover against tire plane. just t wondering if you tried that look in front like you did the rear. just a thought.

If I get what you're saying, this is what will come with version 2. The top will be slightly more custom curved rounded edge than the bottom 2. The only way to really follow the contour of the car is by sliding the guard inward so that the lip of the guard is flush with the lip of the fender. I specifically measured the drilled holes with that in mind. Granted that version 1 only comes with 1 pre-drilled hole, most people have been very creative with their install to achieve the look that they want. I suppose in a way, it's what encourage me to go with this new custom curve design at the very top.

I'm finally getting around to putting these one - what's the conclusion on new hardware requirements? I'm only doing fronts so tape is not necessary, but couldn't remember what hardware needs to be swapped - came back here to look and it seems there are some open questions...

Can people confirm what new hardware is required to mount the fronts?

Just the top part, where it was originally a push fastener, that looks like this.

Place a U type speed clip behind the wheel liner like so.

And use a tap screw such as this one to secure it.

You could be the first? :) I never had shipped this before to the UK. Currently have 3-4 Australians waiting on some shipments though... If you know what it takes to ship to your country (customs fees/rules, etc.), let me know and I'll try to make it work.

I really like how these are turning out keiothic. I've been on the fence of swapping out my red rally armor guards, but now that I have some bronze wheels coming in... I kinda need to tone down the contrast.

So I guess I'm in for a set, woo!

Cool. A new batch is worked on right now. I believe I have an output of 42 sets, 33 of which already been claimed. I believe I saw a Google form submission this morning and it's from Seattle, so it must be you. I'm working as diligently as possible making them.

A month in of having these and still loving them! the minimalist look is so appealing to me. It makes me so glad I didn't pull the trigger on a brand name; I giggle a little whenever I see them because they're so bulky (to each their own). :D Thanks again!

That is indeed me. I am in no hurry, as I can deal with what I have for right now. I'm in for however long it takes, thanks!
