Not my civic, but amidst my vinyl wrapping craze, I blacked out my roomie's ex-t coupe's chrome window trim. 3M 1080 matte black is a close enough match to the factory matte-ish B-pillars, for those interested. I was gonna finish up all the front end chrome, too, but it's just too damn hot outside. I'll save that for another day

That would have probably completely broke her spirit. Tuned Civic compared to stock Corolla.;)
Obviously I don’t know your relationship status but I don’t think comparing cars was his point.

I am from the UK and today whilst on vacation in Florida I popped into see the guys at Kamispeed. Picked up my Project Kics NeoChrome lug nuts set for my 2019 Sport.

It was a pleasure to meet Saku and Josh after many months of emails back and forth. Cheers guys!

Swapped out head units today. I’ve been wanting Apple Carplay ever since I bought my Civic. I opted for a Kenwood DDX6706S. Here’s before and after

Was everything plug and play? Also do all original features work, reverse camera, steering wheel controls, incoming calls, blootooth, etc.??

Forgot to mention what I did to my car yesterday. Amidst my vinyl wrapping phase, my buddy Matt suggested I put some red on the exterior of my car, so I bought a roll of red 1/4" pinstripe at AutoZone and pinstriped my factory Sport front/rear lip and sideskirts. For $4, it looks pretty damn good

That looks really good. I guess there's not much functionality to lose, since the color audio only incorporates the rear view cam (as opposed to the infotainment system which integrates a lot more), but I trust the rear view cam and everything integrated to that Kenwood unit seamlessly?

My friend helped with the install. I’m not very familiar with the installation process itself but it wasn’t plug and play. We had to use a Maestro Sw to carry over steering wheel controls. We had to also purchase a Metra harness for the back up camera. Everything else seems to be working as far as I can tell

I wasn't feeling the silver trim inside the car, so I had another go at vinyl wrapping. This time, 3M 1080 gloss red metallic. Only thing left to wrap now is the steering wheel silver trim. I also decided that the fake carbon fiber trim needed to match what I've already done, so I wrapped that, too.

yeah, yeah. I know I need to clean/detail my interior.. It's too damn hot right now to do so, though.
how did you get those parts off to wrap them?

Door panel, there are 4 screws and 2 clips
that hold the silver part onto the door panel itself.

Trim on the driver's side pops right off, and you'll see tabs holding the silver to the main piece (which was carbon fiber pattern in my case)

Carbon fiber pattern piece to the right of the steering wheel/behind the radio, unbolt the radio to get access to it, and it pops off.

Big dash piece to the right of the radio, same deal, unbolt the radio to get access, then there's something like 5 clips that hold it down. You'll have to take off the entire piece, including the passenger side outboard vent. The silver piece didn't want to come off (I was too lazy to find a pair of pliers), so I just cut it flush.

Shifter trim, take off the boomerang pieces that lead up to the radio, and there's like 4-6 screws holding it down. From there, it's pretty straightforward how to remove the brake and eco buttons, as well as finding the tabs that hold the silver piece onto the surrounding black trim. Use a flathead screwdriver to lift the tabs
