Hi guys, I live in Brazil and own a 2019 touring 1.5T cvt, and here ther is this thing where the only ktuner that works with our Civic X is only available to 1 company (Revitup) and they do not sell the hardware, but instead only do the reflash service.

Well, I hate this idea, as I like fine tuning and adapting to my drivestyle, and would love to have tuner view and to be able to test multiple settings...

Anyway, I am seriously considering getting Hondata because of this, but I have read bad comments on the throttle responsiveness of hondata vs ktuner.

I am not an HP freak so power is not the ultimate priority, but the inability to improve responsiveness is a deal-breaker for me because, what I would like most about the tune is to get rid of that 2 second of nothing between stepping on the gas and the car moving.

Pricewise, it will cost the same to do a 1 time ktuner reflash as to purchase the hondata pro.

Could you give me your thoughts on this? Should I just get 1 time ktuner reflashed or go for the hondata?

Sounds like an incredible rip-off.

I've used both and I've been equally pleased with the throttle response I get on Hondata. KTuner is an excellent platform though, and if you're set on that, is there any way you can order it online with international shipping?

I would 100% not pay the same cost for a single flash that you have no control over and can't monitor.

Lol yeah it's criminal. Spend $150 less and tune your car however and whenever you want.

I'll probably go with hondata because I really like to mess around with my stuff.

Can anyone tell me how is the throttle responsiveness with hondata base maps for the 1.5T CVT?
Is it possible to have my car throttle as soon as I step on the gas instead of having that 1.5s of nothing happening delay?

Also, does it have any cvt oriented features or tunes?

Thanks

Use the improved throttle response and improved turbo response modification on the calibration. It greatly reduces the CVT and turbo lag.

And yes, buy the TSP Stage 1 tune for 1.5T non-Si and CVT.

If you do not wish to go that route (I seriously suggest that you do), the FlashPro will recognize your ECU as belonging to a CVT 1.5T Civic and provide you with basemaps that will work perfectly fine with your car.

How is that even legal? KTuner is locked to your VIN same as Hondata on the flash. I understand this is another country but wtf?
