The new design has deeper fake honeycomb and a new crevice thanks to the added fake aero bit in it.

I'd still rock it tho.

See this is what happens . like I said in other posts about redesigns. They are closing that factory and they are not gonna spend money on new dies and machinery for a redesign. So if real what we are gonna get is a change to a snap in part that is, um, well, yuck. They ain't gonna spend money on the 2020. All we gonna see is crap changes to snap in parts like this.

I think it looks great. I bet on the Type R the body colored part will be red or carbon fiber. Thinking the timing is good for me to pick up a 2020.

A power washer works fine and so does a horse hair brush or any other brush with very very soft bristles.

It will be the same color as the body. There’s no reason for Honda to increase the cost for a one off and carbon fiber would be super cheesy considering everything else is faux carbon fiber.

Not real carbon fiber. The faux plastic they use throughout. With the rest of the car being so busy it would be good to draw attention away from the vents.

Lol your deciding factor was the fake vents? Its ok i decide my purchases on silly stuff too. But get ya one youll love it. Regardless 19 or 20.

Nah my deciding factor has been mostly saving up the funds. Buying a 2019 and then liking the 2020 more was something that crossed my mind. I’ve waited this long what’s another 6 months?

I kinda dig it. My concern is for those of us that have sensors in that location, and how hard it would be to swap out.

Yep, this. Way too many lines, and curves, and colors, and jeez.

I wonder how it would it look if it was body colored in the inner portion. It would make the overall vent look smaller.

Like the vents needed any more complexity.

I'm surprised that nobody mentioned this yet. A guy who works at Honda part shows these on FB today. According to him, these are for the Si, and I assume he meant the sedan as well.

What does everyone think about these being a direct replacement? Meaning, do you think it's part of the overall bumper, or could these be easily swappable?
