Yes. Only use a MAF Cleaner. The sensor wires is exactly what you want to spray, those are the only components measuring the air signal. They won't be damaged with spray from a can, just hit them about 2-3 times with the cleaner and attach it back. By the time the vehicle is started again everything will be well and dry.It's been awhile since I've cleaned a MAF, but only use MAF cleaner and I don't think you should spray directly onto the metal wires. Might damage them depending on the spray pressure, but hopefully someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
