I haven't resolved it yet.. I would advise against the muffler based on this thread.
Dangit. The Vibrant is the only muffler I've found that looks good.
I seemed to have kinda of figured it out. The loud whistle sound is caused by an awkward bent through the pipping which causes a "tuning fork/ resonance noise" which I believe is due to shitty welding job or and exhaust leak. Or even hatchback guys with the Invidia Q300 who has the same exact whistle issue has the whistling problem and invidia admitted that it was a design flaw of how the pipe is bent caused the whistling noise. (Look in the comments, the owner complains about it and watch his recent video, he addressing it that invidia is burning all the customers who own the Q300). I suspect that it is not the muffler's issue as my problem seem to have went away.

It's kind of faint in the video, but yes. A howling, resonance type sound. I think mine is louder than what your sounds like, but it's hard to tell from the video.
Well at least we have determined what's going on here. I guess it's time for a new muffler.. I'd rather get a cat-back but #BrokeLife.
Same here I wish I would of just spent the money on a cat back but cheaper out. All the youtube videos sounded great and no one complained till now about the sound
Yeah it's weird that this issue was never mentioned or never popped up until it happened to us. Maybe we got a bad batch? I'm about to just straight pipe it for the time being and be extra loud until I can afford the HKS catback.
