I'm just here to ask where the runners are.
I've emailed Skunk2 asking if they are going to be developing a intake manifold for the 10th gen, have't heard back yet! I assume they would be the first likely..

Not bad for scanner and converting to bitmap. Clean the edges up a bit and get a metal prototype cut

Question. How hard do you think it would be to drill and tap that. For a 4 port meth injection
very easy with the spacer i just had made. can drill each runner.. i had it made out of wood to verifiy fitment then prototype in metal.

I'm just here to ask where the runners are.
they are not pictured.. the stock intake flange was bolted up to verify the hole locations and ports looked good from the drawing.. its a 2-3" spacer that is in between the head and plate..you should know a huge plate like that isnt going to just bolt to the cylinder head :doh:

very easy with the spacer i just had made. can drill each runner.. i had it made out of wood to verifiy fitment then prototype in metal.
I would totally take a metal spacer ;) following intently

long runners for all motor will only give you low/mid range power. It depends on a lot of things like runner size, taper, etc but as a rule of thumb, runner length depends on where in the powerband you want the power. That's why some motors have a dual intake, long runners for low/mid range and a butterfly valve opens up to let air through the short side for full throttle and high rpm.

well here it is.

Fuel Fitting is still a banjo, Id like to make it a metric/an fitting and route the fuel line under the manifold (cleaner) but i didn't have a straight fitting in my box and didn't want to wait. I feel the banjo bolt is a real bottle neck for the high horse power guys and is over looked. The whole 1/4 fuel line needs to go to at least a 5/16 or 3/8. The pump outlet is probably a 1/4 so its a lost cause for now.

I have to make changes the throttle body adapter and add o ring grove for gasket but nothing i cant fix. I made it on too thin of a piece of material and had to make it in my garage on my manual mill using a thicker plate to clear the throttle body motor.

What you cant keep- lower rail sound insulation and sensor cover bracket (above alternator). Throttle body wiring harness bracket that bolts on the oem intake and fuel pump.

Plenum volume is roughly double (guessing) and it feels faster on the butt dyno. My car is all stock SI just with a 23 psi tune.. will get it on the rollers this week sometime..

Needs- K series plenum so you dont need a ait block off of the older b d h f engines.. bybass valve (bov) solenoid bracket.

Great progress!

Any plans to compare the OEM and this manifold on the Dyno? Would be interesting too see where the added plenum size helps the hp and tq through the room range.

just going to dyno it and see how the graph looks

Any update since the last post?
i posted on facebook.. went to the dyno and had problems. made 217 with the one pull i got. still having tc issues with sport mode

i posted on facebook.. went to the dyno and had problems. made 217 with the one pull i got. still having tc issues with sport mode
Turn Traction Control / VSA completely off using the pedal dance sequence. That error will no longer occur.
