Of course you can buy on the market steering wheels from china they are cheaper but I know that the core there is not original and the leather is not natural. My steering wheels are made only on original cores. For me, security is the most important thing. Of course, the decision ultimately belongs to the client because this is his money. Anyone have any interest in buying one of these used? Thinking of getting rid of my ctr so I’d be parting with my wheel. Great condition no marks or anything on it. Just like I got it. Wouldn’t have to wait for it to ship from Poland id be shipping from North Carolina.

1. It’s kind of a tradition for me. I’ve had cf steering wheels on my 370z, STI, EVOX, and SI.

2. I think it adds another level of status to an already awesome interior (minus the steering wheel). I just have never been a fan of the type r steering wheel. Personally I like flat bottom steering wheels.

3. I make a decent living and I can afford it?

4. I like modding my vehicles with my own personal touch.

I got one custom made from china, the seller said it is real but i am unsure how to confirm. It is much heavier than stock wheel.. does yours weight more than stock or less?

Real cf has visible weaves. You can actually see the structure of the weaves. Overlay just looks like carbon but you don’t get the depth of the weave of real cf. A heavier wheel would actually be a good sign that it’s actual carbon fiber because of the increased mass of the cf and resin. Fake cf overlay would actually be lighter because it’s just an aesthetic add on.

I do see 3D depth and weave.. it is much heavier than stock wheel... i have it matched with alcantara suede on both side to match the central console trim and the seat.

$1360 is way too much for a steering wheel. Rather buy an intercooler with that money and a downpipe
