I mean, watching the internet people seem to think with ceramic the dust just rinses right off... It does not. You still have to scrub the wheels and wash them it really does not make it any easier. That brake dust aint like normal dirt on the rest of the car. the rest of the car i have ceramic as wll and the dirt for the most part does not stick a light washing and its gone. The wheels... nope. I can rinse and power wash doesn't matter I still have to ge tint here with a cloth and wash the things. The dirt maybe dosent stick as much but it really is not less work coating the wheels. That dust is brutal. I honestly dont think coating my wheels has made it that much easier to warrant the price of the coating.
Got you. I am aware the brake dust does not "wash" off or "rinse" off it needs to be wiped down with a proper cloth. However, my experience has always been that as long as I am diligent in cleaning the brake dust, it does not build up and can be wiped off with relative ease.
I can see how one could be confused with ceramic coating allowing the brake dust to spray off like it does on the paint etc. I plan to ceramic coat my car soon.
