As I look to sell my type r at the end of this season just trying t get an idea what a prepped DS car is worth.
2019 ctr championship white

Two sets of motegie wheels with Bridgestone tires,
OE wheels and tires hardly used, maybe 1000 miles on them.
Rear karcepts sway bar
Winter wheels and tires if needed
down pipe back exhaust

under 10k miles on the car.

With the excellent resale of these cars is it out of the question to ask for what a new one costs with all the parts?

let me get your opinion. I have a few people interested just don't want to sell it too cheap but ask too much.

I think its better to just sell the car and sell the parts to autoXer separate, I doubt you'll get what you think is worth out of it unless you have a buyer lined up already...

I agree w/ Jen - I've sold, ahem, A LOT of cars. Put it back to stock, it's worth more to 99% of the world, and sell the parts separate. If someone wants it as a package, it's simply a matter of adding what you want to get out of the parts to what you want to get out of the car stock... it's just a bonus that they're already attached to the car. :)

I would say what others have said, just part out and sell. Cars are worth more in stock form. Many people, like myself, don’t want cars that have been modified. My experience with modded cars isn’t good. Although some young kid might love what you’ve done (or not be mature enough to understand that what you did was tasteful) ‍♂

if I do I would love to see her continue to race. I also Might just get a 2020 in yellow lol

That said if you saw my other post this win complicates things a little. the monkey is off my back, I won but now do I defend? Do I go to BS in a 1LE like I wanted? or keep her because I know have a strong emotional connection with a car... that I haven't had in a long time. Sounds like im talking about a woman here lol

Price went up, it's now a race car with provenience.
if i do sell it i think ill ask for maybe 37. with all 5 sets of wheels and extra parts i have for it. but im not going to say "i won its now 40gran" cause everything I have done to is you could buy and build it for under 40, if you get one at sticker lol.

Congrats on the win! Hope you keep it!
thank you!

this is also a possibility. try and defend the title.

I would do one of those ads here and at the place I can't talk about in which you let people know the car will be available for 37k with all the goodies first with a clear deadline for demodding and then go the other route if there are not any bites. 37K prepped is a great buy for a proven championship car (though unfortunately you can't throw in your alien driver skills). If I could get rid of my 1LE (f'ing ice mode) and Civic SI easily without taking a complete bath, I would consider it. Good luck!!!

hardly an alien but thank you lol.

We shall see. I keep looking at 2020 1LEs and I really want one. I will however be pissed if the ice mode isnt actually fixed like they say it is! Personally I feel like the type R had the most confident brakes ive ever raced with, or at least a lot more confident than the FS camaro lol.

I bet they are no more confidence inspiring that an M3 provided. I'm likely to pull the trigger after the Tri-Pod which will give me time to get winter wheels/tires, and possible a set of competition wheels although that will be less of a priority. If I pull the trigger, any chance to rent a set of wheels/tires so you have some distant competition until I'm up and running?
