One thing I wish I knew would have been that finding a perfect seating position is near impossible for me. It has been a real struggle to find a position that allows me to be comfortable, be able to push the clutch in all the way, not feel like I’m on top of the steering wheel, and not run into the steering column.

Really wish there was power seats for the driver. I feel like a good seating position for me is impossible because I can only set it to fixed points, whereas with power you are able to have a much larger amount of possible choices.
I know what you mean. Im relatively short and I feel like my seating position is super awkward.

Same here. I've tried seat position and tilt/telescoping wheels adjustments. I have it to where it's acceptable now. The biggest issue for me is, I feel the clutch pedal is way too far to right in this car (close to the brake pedal). If it were to the left a few more inches, I don't think I'd have the probably bumping my knee on the steering column.

Took me about a year to figure out my seating position, then someone posted this video which is actually super helpful (it's similar to the position i use).

Definitely understand this one. Every time I move the seat to vacuum out the car, I spend a couple of days trying to convince myself of the seat position I previously thought was pretty good. At 6' 4" I am definitely not within the range that this car was designed for. Weird thing to me is that the seat can easily go far enough back for me to not be able to fully press the clutch, but for my legs/back to be comfortable, my arms have to "stretch" more than I want. Wish the steering wheel came out about 1 inch farther.

Looks like the video didn't get added to your post.

Edited it in above. Sorry about that. @Zeffy94

Edit:
This video actually helped me fix my seating position. Before my shifts were so inconsistent it was frustrating the hell out of me.

Edit:
Tried this again and was reminded why I haven't adopted it. If I set the seat back to almost straight up, my head touches the roof. Every once in a while it sucks being this tall. :D

I do try to sit as straight up as I can, but the seat was also made for someone much shorter than me and the belt passthroughs dig into my shoulder blades. Such is life.
I just end up leaning the seat back far enough for head clearance and shoulder blade relief and then have my legs slightly cramped so I can still comfortably reach the steering wheel. :drive:

When I can reach the clutch pedals without fear of not fully depressing it when changing gears, it seems like my legs are cramped. The only way to uncramp them is to move the seat back, but then it feels like I’m too far from the pedals.

I basically have to suck it up and deal with the leg cramping, which after about an hour starts to get noticeably more discomforting.

I did watch the video and it certainly helped, but it sucks that it’s impossibly difficult to find a comfortable seating position that works with the car.
