I didn't mean it was bad, but it doesn't cost much and can be found at any Walmart. Stuff like CG is more pricey and has to be bought online for the most part, so I'm a bit stingy with it lol
should I use BWW over Nu-finish. would it be a noticeable difference?

I think NuFinish is more of an all in one wax/polish that you apply on its own for the average joe that wants to quickly and easily polish and protect their car. You could probably put BWW over it just fine, but you'd be better off IMO putting it over something with a bit more durability. A sealant like JetSeal or Meguiars Ultimate wax. I'm not a detailing expert by any means so maybe @timothyjay or @snbns could comment on that

Yeah it is a lot of work, but it does last a long time. You could always spend a day giving the car a full wash and detail.

1. Wash
2. Clay bar
3. Polish (Meguiars Ultimate Polish is pretty good. This will remove your swirl marks)
4. Sealant (JetSeal)
5. Finally your BWW

Clay barring is pretty simple. I learned how to do it from YouTube. It takes a whole afternoon for sure but it's not something you have to do often. I just grab a few beers and turn on my Bluetooth speaker and take my time. It's a lot of work but it's kinda therapeutic and it's very satisfying when you're finally finished

@Touring & @Mr.Brown - I've used the JetSeal/BWW combo and I highly recommend it. The shine is ridiculous, and the water beading is pretty good. But that shine is seriously amazing. I think I'll be switching between the JetSeal/BWW combo and Collinite 845. I feel like Collinite 845 does the job JetSeal/BWW does in one step. It's truly amazing and the water beading is super aggressive. I might try a layer of JetSeal and then top it off with Collinite 845.

Clay barring is quite easy. I just did it yesterday in probably 40 minutes. I just got my car a little over two months ago, so the paint was still super smooth, and didn't have that many contaminants on the paint, so I didn't go super aggressive with the clay bar. Foam canon, clay bar, wax and dressing took me about 2.5 hours in total yesterday.

when you use the foam cannon, do you also hand wash it after the cannon, and before the clay bar?

Yes, I've used the Collinite 845 as well with excellent results! It's easy to use and beads water like crazy!
What's the consensus on Collonite 845 when it gets on the black rubber trim or black textured plastic.

I've heard some people say it comes off easy while others say you're left with the white chalky haze.

Yeah after I hit it with the foam canon, I hand wash using the two bucket method while the foam is on there. Then rinse and straight to clay bar. No need to dry it since you're going to clay it anyway.

I have applied Collinite 845 twice (once yesterday, once today) and I can definitely say that it does not effect the trim at all. If you get it on the trim it buffs off super easy.

I got to apply a second coat of Collinite 845 today. The shine is just incredible. The ease of applying is crazy too. I barely use any product and it covers the whole car! This stuff is definitely my favorite wax/sealant. Sorry Chemical Guys! I can't wait for it to rain so I can get some pictures of the water beading lol.

For those of you who have the CG Microfiber Wash detergent: How am I supposed to use this stuff? Do I mix it with regular laundry detergent, or use it on its own? It's pretty watery so it almost seems like more of an additive

I use it by itself - definitely no need for regular detergent. I know it seems too watery, but it soaps up well once water is introduced. You only need a few capfuls for a regular load of microfiber towels.
