So they've heard us whining about the fake "vents", so they've decided to camoflage them.

Does the rear grill look smaller?

Not sure I’m loving the painted trim accent.

It seems like the "vent" got smaller but the frame got thicker with more on the medial side. The top is also angled, meaning it will not fit the current hatchbacks, Si, Type R.

Yeah, that's what it seemed like to me. I guess the rear bumper has been updated then...

Yes, they are creating more "depth" in the vent. The rear looks really good, without the body color strip.

The front is a meh, and it doesn't even match the rear. It'd be great if they use the deeper vent design at the back simultaneously at the front as well.

Now it looks odd with the front and back don't match up. I guess there are two groups of people in the design team that agree on disagreement, so let's have both of them.

Big question now is will this be in the Type R?

If you examine a bit closer it looks like it's not the high trim level since it's supposed to be led's no? What I'm really interested in is the top trim level with Leds and the interior WITH manual transmission if confirmed! Either that or the 2020 hrv manual if that's also rumored to come back as well!

It's going to be a great year for stick shift lovers, and Yea yea I know Tesla's are all over the place now my gf drives one and cvt's for bumper to bumper traffic but rowing my own gears will always have a special place in my heart :D

Somehow Honda must feel the body colored bits make the vents look smaller. To my eye, that bit of body color just serves to make them more of an eyesore.

Nice 'shopping. But I'm still not sold on the painted bits to the vents.

When I was trading in my '16 EX-T sedan, I initially wanted to go with another sedan but after seeing the chrome bits added, I quickly changed my mind and opted for my current '19 hatchback. No regrets.

First impressions, I prefer my bumpers. I’m not sure if I like the colored trim in the vents. Need to see more before I can really give an opinion.
